Beautiful! Walking the high line in the evening after work used to be one of my favorite things to do, it’s been years and I miss it! Thanks for an update, Brie! Everything is growing in so beautifully! 😍❤️
It's truly inspiring to see what role a garden in the middle of a city, elevated and separated by definition, plays in the unification of its citizens. It feels like it should have always been there. The echos by the unique architecture only add to the fact that it is so special. Derelict train tracks to a native plant paradise... what a fantastic idea. Great tour Brie, i love the fact that you know your stuff and can recall effortlessly. You're a fantastic tour guide! Plus that connection to you and the macrophyllas... that's so special.
I love the Highline and miss it so much 😩 Now that I’m a gardener, I’m sooo excited to revisit with fresh eyes, a renewed perspective and greater appreciation 🥰🌱🙏🏾
Thanks for the tours and thanks for including the architecture as well. There were some really amazing buildings who are lucky to have such a great view!
Hi Brie. I'm a horticulturalist from Ireland. I really enjoyed your High Line tour, which is my number one destination when I visit NYC. Your chat was very informative, though not enough on grasses. I'm a poacea freak and I adore the prairie grasses there. Perhaps another one of your fabulous tours of the High Line, leaning towards the grasses, is called for. Thank you for taking the time to make and post this unique video.
Love this thank you. Was the video taken in June as well as posted then? I'm writing a fictional walk on the High Line end of March/April, so trying to get a good idea of what would be in bloom.

Welcome back to NYC! Great tour and commentary!

Next time I get to NYC I’ll make sure I focus on grasses!
It's very very beauty city!!!
Hi Brie, I had never heard of these two gardens. Thanks for the info. Will be including these on my list of things to do. :-)
Great tour! Thank you.
It’s nice to see some positive reporting from NYC. It seems all the news I’ve been hearing lately has only been negative
Yeah it was wonderful! The news is crazy! I will say “pretentious Chelsea hipsters” drove me crazy but otherwise nyc is doing great!

Yes this posted the day after I took the videos. There is never a bad season on the Highline!
@@BrieThePlantLady Thank you so much.
