I think & it's my personal view that we should give full time to UPSC for 2 Attempts & then accordingly take Decisions. As the reverse is True as well that these are your most Productive Years and You would want that early Starter Opportunity in some other Field as Well. If You Belong to a Middle Class Family waiting till the 6th Attempt is never a wise decision. Rest I leave it to the respective Aspirant. I'm going to give the 2nd Attempt this year and I have given everything and all my Time to this Single Exam since the past 3 Years though I'm determined to get successful if not I'm prepared to Start on Other Journey As Well.

I agree it is not the waste of time. Everything depends on perspective and approach.But it is a really difficult journey and we think we should try something else also due to its long cycle.And youth age finds creativity somewhere or the other which lacks in some way; preparing solely.And many things society's expectations etc are at different level regarding this field which makes it worse for people to bear.But it takes courage to follow the journey.And salute to all those who are doing the same.
