      @tonywilson4713 8 дней назад

      WAY MORE important to the Niners is the Draft.
      Instead of living in the delusion that's been present for the last few years we need to be hyper focussed on linemen. In 2022 we had 4 QBs get seriously injured and didn't draft a single linemen in the 2023 draft.
      Last year we got Puni who was good and got Nugent as an undrafted free agent and then never played him.
      The niners need to drop the denialism and get back to some basic "Block & Tackle Football."
      This draft is full of top grade linemen.
      Just go re-watch the highlights of the FBS playoffs and watch the linemen.

Being able to influence who will be chosen as GM is by now means a downside either. And whether or not he and/or the Jaguars will become a laughing stock (again) remains to be seen.
      In any case, he's now on a five year HC deal. That's is (1) more money than the Bucs would ever have paid him as an OC, and (2) it is for two years longer than the deal the Bucs offered him. I've been following various social media, the prevailing thought is congratulations to Pete Carroll for getting another coaching gig at (start of season) 74 and best of wishes. "Seething" at Carroll because he allegedly got tired of the internal power struggle he was having with Jody and ownership (who didnt want to commit to his ideas of how to improve the team likely due to not wanting to get too involved before inevitably selling it) and them finding his replacement is wild. Would I have loved him to stay with the proper situation? Yes of course. Pete ultimately brought us a Lombardi and changed the culture. 10/14 years he made the postseason, with 3 of the 4 years he didnt being losing seasons. There are not many head coaches who can offer that track record amidst two rebuilds. He did a lot for us. But it was time to move on given the differences. Here's hoping the absolute mediocrity that is Raiders ownership doesn't get in his way and accepts his methods to rebuild the team.

Last 5 years, he went from the Rams to Kentucky back to the Rams then back to Kentucky again, then to the Bucs and now the Jags. 100 percent within his rights to take a HC job, but indecisiveness and a lack of follow-through are not ideal traits. Especially when needing to revive a hilariously mismanaged franchise like the Jags. The Texans will run that division they seem to have the only Leader Of Men at HC in that division. As a Jaguars fan, this has disaster written all over it. Glad Baalke is gone, but this shit starts from the top. It will always be clowntown as long as Kahn is the owner. This guy gets duped by conmen too many times.

    Bucs fans need to calm down. In an everday scenario , no one would tell their current employer what they are doing with regard to them seeking work else where. Relax, its how these businesses are run.

    Belichick said that the OCs and DCs have no experience in all the areas that a HC has to deal with, which is why so many fail.

      Pretty much every head coach was a coordinator at some point, including Bill. Not sure why people parrot this as if it is at all relevant. HC jobs don't just randomly fall out of the sky lmao

    There sayjng he didnt go into to sign because once he signed he cannot talk to any one about a HC job. The hate is way too much, think about your own life, if you got an interview for a dream job paying 3x more but you gotta take a day off work, are you gonna to the "right" thing and tell your employer your going to interview or another job or call in sick. You dont quit, you dont know if you have the job or not. I dont personally know anyone who would have done the "right" thjng unless they have this long, emotional bond with that said employer.

    Although, in this instance, I'm happy to welcome Saleh back.

      Actually that doesn’t make any sense. The fact that he is the reason why “the boss” got fired so it’s safe to say he will have a say so on who’s the next boss would be. He was already told he will be included in a bunch hiring process with Sharid Khan.

    The TWO most important people on an NFL team are the QB and HC
    BUT, the QBs make an average of $40 Million..
    .while the HCs make an average of only $4 million
    SO, the dumb-dumb worker makes 10 times more than the boss.
