Thank you so much, Stephen! This was incredibly informative and I cannot overstate how much I appreciate your gift for crisp, articulate diction. An absurdly high number of RUclips tutorials seem to be crafted by people with poor enunciation skills who slur, mumble and swallow half their sentences. You are a consummate professional.
This is perfect. I was looking for how to create a gif from a screen capture and this tool makes that really easy with some helpful features to edit it. Thanks for sharing how to easily accomplish it!
Nice video, but...I don't get a "scrolling window" I am on the free trial - also, when I do the panoramic capture then try to share it, the image is tiny...when I enlarge it, it gets blurry. Is there a fix for these? Thanks!
Just to clarify, you don't have the option to select "Scrolling Window"? Strange - there should be no limits to the trial version of SnagIt. Regarding the image resolution - what is the original size of what you're trying to capture? If you capture a 50pixel X 50pixel area, it will appear blurry when enlarged to 100px X 100px. One workaround is to zoom in on what you're trying to capture so that it's enlarged before capturing in SnagIt (this works particularly well on websites, where you can zoom in on an area of the screen by pressing Ctrl and the + button (Command and + on a Mac). Keep me posted...

Good question! Short answer, no- but you can: 1. Export 2 videos individually. 2. Start recording using SnagIt. 3. Playback the 2 videos. 4. Trim in Snagit. Not perfect, but it'll do the trick!

@@StephenKwiecinski Does GIF work in google docs?
when i magnify it puts the magnified part in a different area. The original stays where it is and the magnified part is down below.
Does it have cursor (mouse) highlights?
You can add shapes around the cursor when you're editing in SnagIt. If you need something more advanced, check out TechSmith Camtasia.

4. Trim in Snagit.

Can't draw shapes with a dotted line..... this request has been coming from the user for years!!!! :-(
Nice software but $50 is too much for a static program and $35 for upgrades. Free trial last 15 days.
Please note, Snagit 2022 does NOT support BlueTooth headset / microphone. I got it confirmed by Snagit support.
I wonder if you can help me ? If i have a voice over on Fiverr how can I down load the file onto my Snagit. Thanks, Steve
