I know that this is a gardening channel but I absolutely love these shopping videos and the decor videos. These videos remind me of my sisters and Mom, we had fun shopping too. Sadly our Mom passed in 2014 at the age of 65 - we miss her terribly! Thank you for these types of videos, it brings me back and brings me so much joy ♥️

My mom died suddenly in 2018. She and I used to love shopping for unique treasures together. When she lost her mobility at the end, I would push her through the shops in a wheelchair. I can barely go to our favorite places anymore because I begin to cry. This video reminded me of those sweet, happy times with her. Enjoy every moment you have with your mom. There is a hole in your heart that can never be filled once a mom is gone.

I was very close with my Aunt who passed in 2020. Miss our outings. They were filled with stories, memories and so much laughter. I am the oldest now.
And as much as you miss her, you are so lucky to have had such a good relationship with her; it's not guaranteed just because she's your mom.

I'm a retired florist (our shop was in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) so I was impressed by the wholesalers. But I worked for Disney Floral in Orlando for a couple years in my early 60's. Wow! What an eye-opener when money doesn't hold back your choices. The coolers at Disney Floral were packed with unique and exquisite blooms. You girls would love it.

I used to watch my grandma "sprinkle" the clothes and then shake, roll and put them in bags to hang out in the freezer (We lived in a southern state) while she cooked breakfast. Then, the clothes came out of the freezer and were ironed while she watched her "programs". What great memories! Thank you for a great shopping trip!
My Mom sprinkled some clothes (mainly my Dad's dress shirts), rolled them up and put them in the refrigerator to dampen. They could stay there for days until ready to iron. Ironed up beautifully.
I think women used pop bottles with a sprinkler head/ cork fitting to sprinkle clothes prior to ironing!
I swear we just used our hands to sprinkle the water on clothes. We’d put the rolled up clothes in the fridge as well. My mother worked outside the home and wore a lot of pleated skirts (60s) and would painstakingly iron the pleats every Sunday night. We finally found an “ironing lady” who did it. What a relief! 😀
Yes!!! My mim did that and we had a mangle iron for the sheets. We watched I Love Lucy in TV while we did the sheets.
We watched Bandstand while ironing. I had four sisters so we would take turns so we could take turns dancing. Great memories

Thank you for the tour of the Antique Mall 🙏🏼. I used to work there during my teenage years, so this brings back lots of memories 😊. I learned a lot from the previous store owner, she had a big impact on my life and I still have her photo in my office 🥰. She passed away years ago but I cherish her lessons and the impact they made. Hello from Eagle Idaho, my husband says hello as well. He watches your videos and gets inspiration for our own garden 😀.

I have an antique show collection that was my Grandpa's, he was a shoe salesman, and, yes, they were all that narrow or even more narrow than that. One of my shoes is made of silk and was neither a left or right foot, it was straight, so that they could wear on either foot and replace only one shoe if necessary, that shoe is 300 years old.
Monica is beautiful. One can feel how genuine she is right thru the screen. Mom...you must be proud.

I couldn't get a clear view of the etched pattern on the glassware in the case at the first shop or the glassware your mom purchase but it appeared to be Cambridge Glass. The glass factory was in Cambridge, Ohio and they made leaded crystal and other glassware items. Cambridge Glass is antique as the factory closed in 50s (it operated from the 1920s - 50's). I had several family members who worked at the factory (grandfather, great uncle & great aunt and I think my grandmother and great-grandfather). When they got bored or had extra time on their hands they created one of a kind pieces several of which I have. My prized collection is 6 complete crystal dinnerware sets etched with the Rose Point pattern (dinner, salad, bread & butter, cups & saucers, salt & pepper, butter dish, cream & sugar, various serving bowls & platters; and an 8 piece stemware collection for each place setting consisting of water, ice tea with stirs, foot tumbler, wine, cordial, sherbet/champagne, oyster). I have two 6.5 - 7' tall curved china hutches, one with Rose Point only and the other with various pieces/patterns. The overflow is in a cabinet I don't have room to display. I wish I could have seen the pattern more clearly to able to tell if is was in fact Cambridge and what pattern it might be. I really enjoy your shopping excursions, thanks for bring us along.

It is amusing that with all the box woods you have at your place, you buy box wood branches!! Have you ever thought of growing a box wood and not trimming it so that you have branches you can use in displays? Love watching you all shopping and spending the day together.

In the days before steam irons, you had to sprinkle your ironing with drops of water to help get the wrinkles out. My Mom used to keep Dad's damp military uniforms in the refrigerator so that they would stay wet until she was ready to iron.
I enjoy when you go antiquing with your family. I had to have surgery on my foot last week. Every time I see your mom in a video, unknowingly she gives me encouragement that one day I will be able to walk again.

About the yellow sprinkler...we didn't have a cute girl sprinkler. Ours was a soda bottle with a metal sprinkler that had a cork stopper to fit into the bottle opening. Mama would Sprinkle the clothes ( some were starched) roll the clothes up and place in a bag in the refrigerator. It made the clothes iron so easy and look so nice when done. I sound ancient don't I?
Did your bottle have a strawberry on the outside? That's a blast from the past.
