I am 57 and my mother is 86. I really love watching these videos of you and your mom. When I was that age, I was in law school, and thereafter I was always just so busy, busy, busy. My parents lived a couple of hours away and I could kill myself now that I didn’t take the time and run around with her on excursions like this. I hope your videos inspire people to spend more time with their parents while they have the chance.
When my dad was still with us. Sometimes he n I would take trip to the Bodega Bay area. He loved going to The Tides for clam chowder. Miss those fun days. Mom and I recently took a month long road trip. Northern California to Ohio. The return trip was extremely difficult for us. I was never to happy to see the Welcome to California s
Mrs. . You still have your mom its still a good thing. The older we get the more we appreciate parents and understanding . Not having the chance growing older with a parent to care and understand them more because we are getting older too is sad . it amazes me seeing 50-60 or 70 yrs old person and still having their mom.

My mother was a self-made interior decorator. She was featured 3-4 times in Southern and Country Living magazines years ago. She and my father owned two antiques/gift shops in Alabama. All this happened after I left home for college. She dearly loved stopping at flea-markets and antiques shops and whenever I was home, she and I would go on the hunt. 😊. I love watching you and your mom do this together! I cherish those times with my own mother, and I know that you do, too! 💕. I love all your gardening programs as well. 😁.

Your mom is such a hoot! My mom passed away 4 years ago at age 103 [going strong on her own until 3 weeks before her passing]. We use to have many fun outings like you and your mom. I miss those times...Enjoy!!

You are providing a experience a experience for your children. One where they have a beautiful space to explore, learn, use their imagination while they are exploring all the spaces. In todays world where it seems children are being raised in front of video games and other electronics, you are giving the gift of security, beauty in nature and spaces where they can run and play and just be kids. I hope you both know what a gift that is My children are 20,23 and 25 and they will tell you that having a beautiful outdoor space to run, play , build forts etc where some of the best times growing up. Pool noodles work great for crutch covers. Slice them down the middle, you can even cover them with fabric and just tuck it under. No sewing necessary.

It is so good seeing your mom out with you doing what you both love doing. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I paid close attention to how she maneuvered on her crutches and scooter. I recently broke my leg where it meets my ankle, as I stepped off my patio. So I am taking notes for for when I can become more mobile. Wishing your mom the very best as she continues to recover. I was antiquing with my mom at Enchanted Objects and saw Laura and Susan! I died and was sooooo excited. I loved that pink chair but there was a big sold sign on it! Love this video..always enjoy the antique shopping. When my daughter visits from out of town we make it to our favorite antique store as well. . I wish my Momma was still with us, she would have a blast antique shopping with my daughter & my sister. I can't think of a better day together. It is so good seeing your mom out with you doing what you both love doing. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I paid close attention to how she maneuvered on her crutches and scooter. I recently broke my leg where it meets my ankle, as I stepped off my patio. So I am taking notes for for when I can become more mobile. Wishing your mom the very best as she continues to recover. I was antiquing with my mom at Enchanted Objects and saw Laura and Susan! I died and was sooooo excited. I loved that pink chair but there was a big sold sign on it! Laura you and your mom are as delightful in person as you are on camera. Thank you for all the inspiration and joy that you bring us. Your videos always make my heart happy. Oh gosh this was such a fun video Laura, so fun to see you antique shopping with your mama, and she really is so tough and great at walking with crutches, and that scooter really makes it so she can move fast. I was planting and growing vegetables too off of your garden channel. Since then we’ve lost our home due COVID and hard times. We’re in an apartment complex now 😢. But it’s a roof over our heads for now. Well I enjoyed it. One day we’ll be back planting again
