funny that you mention ganon! golden hour's voice is sampled primarily from ocarina of time ganondorf! and his final attack is inspired by oot ganondorf's final battle where you hit attacks back at him
I like how unlike most No Hit animations where the player speeds up and slows down at random, this one just feels like those moments where your refusal to die after having made so much progress allows you to dodge attacks that are way above your pay grade
I thought of a invincible meter that quickly drains(sorta like cyan soul in the deltatraveler porky fight except without the slowdown and quicker drain). I am not sure for an inventive idea for blue soul and that I'd my main oc's soul type. 2 ideas are a sideways dash and the ability to flip gravity on command like how sans does so. Does anyone have a good blue soul gimmick?
@@daniellejackson6543 My personal favorite blue soul mechanic so far is the ground pound in Mike's Big Showdown. It feels the most natural-while TS!Underswap and Deltatraveler do use a dash, I feel like that's more fitting for the orange soul.
Wow! The use of 3D integrated in Deltarune’s 2D interface at 5:28 is nothing short of incredible. Good job for your first true battle animation! (I’m also one of the few who animate Deltarune using Premiere Pro too, so I know myself just how difficult it is to make this stuff)
PROPS. Solis is the most well crafted fan secret boss I have ever seen. I read the dialogue through this video, and yeah, I cried a bit when Solis got a hug from Ralsei. His final attack is INSANE!??!?! I have been interested in the idea of circle final attack for a purple soul for a long time, but I was always picturing something 2d! The visual of the rings around Solis were so wonderful and spacey and so fun to watch! I'm really curious, what would happen if you chose Nubert or Dog Tea? Also, would Solis have different dialogue if you used a healing tea in his fight? You don't have to answer these questions if you don't feel like it. I just.... AHHHH! That was so good I want more! I might write a longer analysis on this honestly.... IT'S SO GOOD....

And he needs the soul to go back and undo everything (How exactly he knows for sure we still don’t know) BUT THING IS he knows somehow what a lightener/darknener could do in the game,which is why he ran away…in every choice in the game we decide what to do. But Kris doesn’t,at least not in game,outside however he’s free to think and decide whatever so the fact that no matter what Solis does or what we do as the player ,Kris still chooses to forgive him EVERY SINGLE TIME! And that must sting to know,even if Solis did make himself forget it all It all just STINGS!!!am I making sense I don’t know anymore! Fight good,story sad AS USUAL 😖

Glad to see you were able to finish this after the long development. Although the plans for a fangame fell through, this animation more than made up for it. It's a bit disheartening to see Susie and Ralsei's falling out, but her feelings were completely understandable given the situation. If you plan on exploring more of this dark world, I hope we get to see things resolved between them in the future.

what i kinda adore is that susie is starting to figure out the truth about the dark worlds and is seriously suspicious of ralsei its a really realistic character progression that i could totally see happening in the real game
Weirdly enough, out of almost any fully completed fan secret boss fight I’ve seen, this one feels like it fits the best in the style Deltarune, especially given that it brings to the table a lot of cool and creative bullet patterns and character elements. Good work!

Now I'm curious what would happen if you attacked him, ran out the timer, or what would happen in a Snowgrave like route for this character but anyways this was cool to see and I look forward to what's in the future
5:00 almost all secret bosses including my own has this kind of attack with the diamonds(don't look for mine it doesn't fully exist outside of the comment section of youtube videos). For mine the diamonds would fire in a line from his hand which you have to properly time a jump across a gap to not get hit by it.

Or at least better telegraphing. Jevil has the card bombs explode after they spawn or they spawn out of the box so you can react to those.
