No shafts, propellers or strut bearings? In another video on Texas, I found out why. As a marine engineer, it makes sense as to the why. This drydock period is tremendous, with all the hull plating that has been replaced. Now the focus has to be on getting all that steel coated with preservative paint on the interior to maintain the investment of the new steel. Isn't there some paint manufacturer in Texas to step up?
the guy walking at the stern shows the monster size of this fine old rusty lady!! - well done on piloting the drone - the magnetic interference from the ship and dock must be severe!! when i see it i always want to drive a bulldozer into the rudder an straighten it up a bit - hahaha (i know its frozen till doomsday now!!)😁😁

Fantastic shot, looks like she’s paint ready.
She's looking great! Thanks for the cinematic update.

Thank you!
Many thanks!
That's a beautiful, beautiful video of a fantastic ship. Thank you.
You should restore the kitchen and use it for tourist who visit the ship when finished in drydock
Saw her a year ago when we went on a cruise out of Galveston. The Old Girl has come a long way since then.
Looking good 👍 ❤
it would be nice to see her as she looked in 1945 with all her secondary and AA weapons
Those are being restored and will be on board as soon as possible.
Nice footage of battleship.Well done job!

I love war ship ww2
Technically a WW1 ship… launched 1912, commissioned 1914.
Small Battleship. I thought everything was bigger in Texas... So is it being reconditioned to put back into service?

Compro 2.000.000 navios dessa classe para a marinha do Brasil rio de janeiro
I'm glad of all the new steel. But it shouldn't have had to get that bad. The State of Texas almost lost USS Texas.
