Everything about their friendship was/is intense. The way they look at each other, the soft touches, deep breaths, concerned/caring conversations. The build up of episodes/scenes that led up to the final scene made me appreciate this ship more. #Sharpwin era is HERE!!!

They are so in tuned with each other from the very beginning. It's not just the chemistry, but the actual connection. Beautiful. They have an aura of inevitable love and fatal love wrapped in 1 but first bloomed from friendship and communication.
In their 1st mtg, I loved how she listened to every single word he said, then rebutted him on the points, then made it clear why she and her job was necessary.
it's been so long since I've fallen in love with a couple like that. It's all so genuine, light and at the same time intense and hot! Looking forward to the next steps in this timeline. ♥

it was ALWAYS them ! from the very first ep . even when he was with his wife *sorry georgia* there was chemistry with them . EVERYONE knew it . helen’s first bf after Muhammad . the psychic patient from season 2 i believe .. they all knew . i’m only a few eps into season 3 . but i’ve shipped them from the beginning .

That was the original Helen. The Helen in Season 4, does not "forgets about herself when it comes to Max. She is" not "selfless when it comes to him." She puts Helen first!

@@Sake729 That's what happens when you have a man writing the lovestory. Helen would never have written a one-page letter, and she would have never NOT gotten on the plane. Unbelievable conclusion that should be "redone" on the Final Season!

I just watched the show. Helena and Max chemistry is one of the best I’ve seen. They really need to fix this show. The writers just messed it up with season five. I couldn’t even finish. I think I’m done. Max should’ve chosen Helen…..that is what True love is. it’s not always gonna be perfect and you’re gonna mess up a lot , but in the end overtime it works out.

Just starting watching again.......they completely skipped over the blizzard episode in season 1....with the lady who saw the future.
disappointed there weren't more season 1 clips. come on, 1x16 and 1x17?! i will say i like the change in music for the 'i did it for you" scene and especially the season 3 finale. here, these scenes are allowed to stand on their own, you're drawn in purely by max and helen's amazing connection. i don't know why the songs were changed, but i prefer them. the original music was intrusively loud. i resorted to muting the last minute of 3x14 because the singing overshadowed the scenes. i'm not downing the artist/song but my focus totally shifted because of the "howling" at the end.
Best part of the show and sad to say will only watch untill season 3
I want to see them reunite and marry. Since Luna will be taken over New Amsterdam. They do have a deep connection. Let her explain herself why and what she was feeling the day she actually did not board the 476 airplane. Looks like she was still in London apartment. A must see of this relationship.
Responding to my own comment looking at the 5th season of The New Amsterdam. Well Helena was in New York and she appeared on the T.V. giving synopsis about her research. But Max has moved on with the deaf Doctor. Sorry not out of disrespect, can't think of her name. Helena text Max, but he did not respond, don't blame him. He was definitely hurt, I was hoping to see them reunite but she blew that relationship after all the time she was swooning over him and finally got a relationship she ran away instead of resolving a relationship. Max stated on top of the roof they could work through whatever, but she could not do that. I hated that she did that too Max. But I don't feel the attraction or chemistry with him and the Deaf Dr. Not like it was with Helena, you felt the love and affection through the screen. I hated that this ended. But I can say I'm glad Luna grew up in the eyes of her father Max. 👏 👏.

@@deborah2728I also haven't watched season 5 ( strated 1 episode and turned off). It has never been explained why she left. So out of character, Helen would never do such thing, she cared for Max more then for herself and she wanted to be a mother so badly, she was ready to adopt someone's child in one of episodes. Helen, who cared trauma, because she was abandoned by her father, abandoned small Luna the same way ( girl who caled her mom 😢). it is just not logical, she wouldn't do it.Awful endind, and poor Luna she deserved to have a mother!

I loved the music used for thar last scene better than what they used on the actual show. The music here just makes that scene way more emotionally powerful.
