This video makes me want to go there and work their beds with them. I'm an experienced gardener but this couple have shown how, when we throw off our preconceptions of what a gardens should look like, they come up with something supremely charming and personal. Thank you for showing this.
This is absolutely beautiful, very good job, the two of you working together have created something so amazing... an inspiration to other couples, gives u something positive to do in retirement, helps keep u healthy and happy.
Real nice gardens I do memorial Park in Pennsylvania I have 30 gardens out there that I most of it I put in my myself and I love it I get community service kids out there to help and some other people help so but it's it's beautiful but I really enjoyed your show okay thank you very much bye-bye
This is a very cool garden. I love how you put each name of the plants of the screen this way I can write them down on where they are going in my garden. We will have to ride over and visit with y'all one day, we are in Mooresville. Keep up the great videos, I am making a garden this year because of you.
Thank you Justin for making this tour of William and Susan’s garden available to us. Beautiful! So much fun to break away from my own garden and take a leisurely tour to see how other gardeners creatively use familiar and not so familiar plants and trees. A garden to love and be proud of for sure. 😊 🥾🥾
I love the couple's passion for gardening! I too love gardening and can understand how addictive it can get when you see what you have planted become a glorious display of beauty. Great job on your beautiful home and garden.
LOVE IT when you do garden tours like this!! Please do more!! It’s great for inspiration and it lets us enjoy all the long hours of hard work these gardeners lovingly give to their beautiful gardens!!!
Can’t believe he got this much accomplished in five years oh my gosh so beautiful can’t believe how pretty everything went together oh it’s gonna give me so many great ideas for my cottage garden I’m going to try to put together over the next the rest of my life try to do something nice and different every year oh my gosh he is really knock this one out of the park
So enjoyed this garden tour! They did get the gardening bug and what a wonderful job they have done! It is an example of a learning experience that has brought forth great beauty!
I enjoyed this video sooo much and they should start their own RUclips channel on gardening! I would definitely subscribe and watch!! You’re gardens are beautiful! 😊♥️🌿🌲 🌺 🌸
My kind of gardener👍🏻👍🏻 They’ve got such a nice variety of well taken care of plants. It’s looks like they had every variety of conifer you could possibly have. I grew up around avid gardeners , and it’s something you never lose joy for. I’m glad they’re enjoying they’re new found hobby(:
I so love this garden!!!!! So beautiful!! I wish my husband would take up gardening like this!! I love it!! I have a new weeping blue Atlas cedar that I got early this spring and I planted in a fairly large container and was planning on keeping it there until fall when it is a little better time for me to plant it here in north Alabama really until I decide where I want to put it! I would love more tips on training these!!
What a beautiful place. Fantastic assortment plants. WOW! I have been in the nursery business for years. Your assessment of plants is exceptional! So much fun and enjoyment. Yep, can be in the yard from morning until it's to dark to work. And come in SMILING. 😃👩🌾
Wow! What a lovely garden! Thanks for sharing. I wish we could have seen some “before” pics. Way to go, William and Susan! ~Cassandra Senter, Zone 9A, Laguna Beach, FL
I want a beautiful wondering pathway garden so bad...I am scavenging plants of friends and family now(perennials) and then I get some from the local nursery every year 2 cant wait 2 add trees.
Wow I enjoyed this so much. I just love what you have done. Beautiful. The entire video I was wondering where you live. I wish it would have been mentioned at the beginning. Sunshine is nice. I live in the NW and too much rain. Things do not grow here like that. You are lucky. I am 74 and my son has two acres about 15 minutes from me and they let me begin landscaping their area three years ago and I enjoy it so much. I buy all the plants and they let me do pretty much anything I want. They already had apple trees and blueberry plants in their front yard so I have to work around them. They get snow in the winter so I can only really work there from April to October. I am going to try the garlic trick. They have voles. Hope it will work. Thank you for your awesome video.
Always love a good garden tour and of course it gives me so much inspiration for my own garden I don’t have a lot of money and I have a very small piece of property that you give us great ideas what we can do to make everything look beautiful for just a little love and care hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie
We loved each of your plants and flowers. Cow’s minor, 🐎 minor are the best fertilizers for all plants but we can’t buy them in Kansas City. Thanks you for sharing your beautiful garden.
Great garden tour Justin! I have a quick question about the pine to the left of the “swamp plant” at the 8:08 minute mark in the video. She’s beautiful! I didn’t see that one referenced. It looks like either a thunderhead Japanese or Mugo pine maybe? I apologize if I missed it if you did name it.
Wowzers! Like you said Justin, those plants are all happy there! I would love to walk through those gardens and pick their brains about all those plants..as you walked around I would see something and scream what is that? LOL
Weeping norway spruce love stones for self fertilizing. I hated to leave mine in SW Va when I sold last year. I had 15 conifers on my property. They are all in stone gravel of which I had 72 tons around my house to be fire wise on the mountain. Lovely place here.
Do these folks utilize soaker hoses underneath the mulch???? I finally figured out that my Monrovia orange coneflower needs daily water to keep blooming. I killed one last summer for lack of water. Thanks for the tour. They do love their conifers, which I have come to love as well.
This video was amazing ..William and Susan has done and awesome job with their garden..I love it..the interest is everywhere you look..they truly are master gardeners..thank you for yalls tour.
I would drive by your house every day if I lived near you ! I love your house as much as your gardens. And being a country girl myself (from WV) I felt right at home in your tour. S& K must be your honey hole 😃. ❤️🌿🪴🌸
LOVE IT when you do garden tours like this!! Please do more!! It’s great for inspiration and it lets us enjoy all the long hours of hard work these gardeners lovingly give to their beautiful gardens!!!
Wish I had the room and money to buy more. His gardens are gorgeous. How do you become a master gardener? I don’t have the certificate, but I love gardening and have sinse I was about 12 or 13 years old. I am soon to be 75
Did I miss how this couple make their plants thrive in such a short time? Enjoy the tour, but would really appreciate learning what they do to make plants thrive.
The front is a bunch of weeds invading the flower bed?? Every bed has weeds. The beds arent cohesive. The plants are pretty but the planning of the garden isn’t good - in my opinion so it doesn’t matter.
Garlic plants actually keep the moles away. How many would you need to have planted and at what distance. Do they work for both voles and moles? Most of our issue is in the lawn.

The phlox with variegated leaves at the beginning is beautiful.
The whole garden is amazing
I can’t wait until my husband and I can spend our years gardening more than we do now! We have 3 teenagers that take up most of our time 😉

I so wish I could visit with this couple. Amazing garden beds and I love love all the conifers. Geeez. I’m so envious. What an awesome place!
So enjoyed this garden tour! They did get the gardening bug and what a wonderful job they have done! It is an example of a learning experience that has brought forth great beauty!
I'm new to gardening too and I've planted over 50 plants in just a year 😂
