  • Make sure to watch my video of every slide in the park here!: • Water World Waterpark ...
These are my five must-ride waterslides at Water World Waterpark in Denver, Colorado! I'll explain my choices in a bit more detail below.
Mile High Flyer: I mean it's a huge water roller coaster, and had the longest lines in the park. Everyone already knows it's awesome so it had to make the list!
Screamin' Mimi: The sheer fear I felt while riding this slide made it a must-have on this list. These sled-style slides are few and far between now, so I need to shout out one when it still exists!
Pikes Peak: The tallest freefall slide in the park had to make the list. No questions asked!
Roaring Forks: There's something so fun about being able to race your friends throughout a waterslide, and I think that's what makes Roaring Forks so much fun! Oh and the high-speed turns. P.S. I have beef because one side of the slide is slower than the other, and it doesn't matter what you do, you'll always lose haha.
Journey to the Center of the Earth: Ok, this thing isn't even really a waterslide! It's actually more akin to a 5-minute dark ride at a theme park. I don't even want to know how much it costs a year to maintain and support this ride, but I'm so so glad Water World chooses to do it! How many waterslides have entire theme sections with animatronic dinosaurs? Not many I bet! This is a true world-class classic ride.
