China's in great Economic shape now; so as far as global intl. pressure is concerned; China doesn't care a hoot...., besides in the Western world there's always a trade-off, Humanitarian assistance for Economic, political benefit / power ! China's even helping Africa !!!
Besides I would disagree with the view on the open heartedness, active well wishing nature of Tibetans'; In my experience its rather the opposite......its like the Spanish saying we're all friendly people. The point is we're all in it together WITH the good and bad in us; perfectly capable of both - unless paid heed to through mindfulness....
