Good people prevail through life's curveballs man. All we can do is keep moving and be here for the ones we have left. From experiance... time will help🙂
I'm very sorry for your loss. Another good upgrade to the frame is replacing the engine cradle crossmember. Offroad design sells one you could make hour own basing yours off theres. You would not believe how ridgid this will make the frame a must for a lifted truck.
@@LonniesGarage before I put one in mine you could grab on the rear frame rails and watch it Flex rocking it side-to-side after installing it Rock Solid. This will help take some of the square Body Flex out of the frame. Also if you look at a 1986 or 1987 frame the crossmember at the back of the cab has additional supports that Ty the crossmember to the lower frame these will bolt right in. Looking forward to the progress and again sorry to hear of your loss of your son.
Hey man just wondering how your k10 project is coming with the ls swap using your old transfer case I thought about you when I’m in the middle of swapping a Chevy 14 bolt in mine got to get the rear driveshaft shorten now
I've always been curious how well this kit works compared to the other weld on strap kinds Lonnie. It seems like it might still be prone to have the center section of the cross member crack as well as the top section of the frame? I might just be overthinking it though. Great work though. It looks fantastic.
Great job. Love fabricating and building my own stuff also.

Sorry for your loss. Put double nuts on the side they stick out of the box mount. I had an 85 where the threads stripped and the frame cracked.
Thank you I'll definitely do that.
