The foyer has my two favorite things in the apartment. The grandmothers painted console table, and that gorgeous double shaded brass lamp. Very personal , curated space. Love her views of the Hudson River. And the kitchen is adorable!

Not all people are minimalists. I, personally, am a maximalist. I love to shop and fill my home with decor treasures. It gives me peace to sit back and relax and enjoy it all. It seems like some of these apartments are small so need to be filled with a lot for storage and muti purpose. Does that help understand it better?

It is all about taste, personally love a home that looks lived in, a couch and tv on wall just doesn’t do it for me
Like, imagine people surrounding themselves with stuff that they love, look good, and make them happy
It's not too much stuff if it makes them happy.
All the hoarders are coming for you. I agree too much stuff, too much of the same stuff and needs to be edited down.
