I am fully impressed! It’s just a complete ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGqOCINHE0Z0E5gxzSdNi9NWGugRY5Hm2 plan with the best resources and step by step instructions . These shed plans are so satisfying as if the sheds build themselves on their own. Worthy work Ryan!
You should add another one of those plywood sections so that it hinges out in the other direction, so that you can have double the reach. Since both can fold back away from one another, they shouldn't get in the way of each other.
Wait a minute….. you have an overhead, rolling crane over your whole shop.. … and did I just see you freehand a taper in that piece of plywood !!!??? 😳😳😳
I agree, made my naval suck in big time when I saw that "freehand taper! I'm 66 years old and I still remember hearing our I.E. teacher yell across the classroom anytime someone did something contrary to the safety practices he taught in class! What between my father's & the I.E. shop teacher lessons, on correct procedures and safety measures, which I follow down the line, I still have ten intact fingers!
Festool has actually had this idea in production for.. 15+ years. It has a module that hangs at the end.. for compressed air, vacuum, power… check it out … can’t get them in NAmerica though… 😔👎
Congratulations Mr. Vereshchak, the idea of putting this extender was sensational, you can work on the entire bench with practicality and comfort, without stepping on wires and hoses. Congratulations on the idea. A hug.
We made these back in the day for rebuilding diesel engines in a large shop. Used it to roll blocks over for cleaning and assembly. Ours was attached to large I beams that supported the building with good used taper roller bearings. You have done a great job! Makes for a very easy to keep a tidy shop with less trip hazards! Nice!
Amazing ingenuity, well done!! I have a camera boom in my shop that is tiny compared to your boom, but they are really helpful. I love how you thought through the different uses and can add things on as you go. Great work!
I've really liked your videos since the first one I found several years ago, but now that I found out you live in Ukraine I am even more impressed with your work man. Your shop is something else! I'm feeling a bit jealous, lol. Especially seeing your bridge crane, boy what a nice piece of equipment they are to have in a shop. And this jib crane you're building is a great alternative, very cool idea. P. S. May the Gods of War be with you and your country and help to bring you to victory. And if you are called to join in the fighting, throw some lead downrange for me. I am 100 percent behind the Ukrainian people and with you in spirit.
14:02 that’s not up to code! No J-box and no butt connectors. Hopefully that won’t start a fire. The only thing heat shrink is good for is keeping the weather away. Fantastic build so far!!
Made one of these a few years ago with power outlets, a 500kg hoist on rollers and the main body was a 10 bar air reservoir for compressed air tools. Very handy.
Top idea, top mechanical implementation, but dangerous and crappy cabling! Wagos or crimping- equipment are much safer, faster and cost only a little amount of money - especially in comparison to a fire or an electrical accident 🤷🏻♂️
Absolutely and even losing a finger aside, making a free hand cut like that with no splitter or riving knife either smh. All he had to support the piece at the end was his thumbs. If it would have kicked back it would have shot that material up and into him either his abdomen/chest/or face. Even the expensive tapering jigs you can buy are cheaper than the doctors office co pay and pain medication costs (assuming that’s all you needed). Clearly money isn’t the issue given the other tools and material used in the video. No reason to risk your safety and especially include that clip in the video making others who are less informed think that it’s an acceptable way of making a cut like that.
I'm making one of these but will also have dust extraction. Has to be shorter though as one that long will hit my wall on the other side of my workshop. LOl
Loved it! I've never seen an extension like that before. Very creative. But shouldn't you have some form of a handle on it so you wouldn't be pulling on the hoses or plug-ins? If nothing else for safety reasons.
It's neat. One of the best diy boom vids I've seen by far. If you ever do an upgrade on it, perhaps you might consider putting in a remote controlled system, because it does seem to be quite a chore to position manually.
Awesome! Great job. Too big for my shop but it's adaptable. The electrical wiring should be done accordingly the regional requirements and checked by a profi electrician. In Germany I would use Wago Clamps or something to connect the wires.
Rainer, thanks for mentioning the Wago connectors. I've looked them up and read reviews on them. I have a major wiring job coming up. I'll use them, lots of them.
I love your video's. But, I only have a 1 car garage and live paycheck to paycheck. This would not help me. But, I'll keep watching your video's cause I love your craftmenship..
Very good, I just added two more "lamps" or a simple led projector to the metal bar... Example if you have it on the cutting bench, with the arm stretched out, there is no lighting on the right side... But otherwise it's very good, when I'm big I want to do these jobs.... :D TOPPPPPPPP
In all your comments, only 2 noticed your safety issue on tablesaw! Keep Your Fingers Dude, their worth more than you think! Happy creating. Yes. . . I would love the size of your shop & the gantry crane! there is jealousy in the RUclips world!
I'd install a vacuum hose for dust cleanup. Perhaps a future upgrade? Meanwhile I'm so jealous of your shop. Subscribed so I can shamelessly copy you :)
Hello Friend Boiseux, Superb articulated arm well made and practical, why not have included the suction for electric machines in 220 Vlt? Sincerely, Alain from Belgium.
I only have a 2 car garage and have no real need for something like this..... sure would be nice though, what a great idea for the size of shop you are working in. Looks extremely useful.
This is the perfect solution for my shop. Now I can get rid of the 3 extension cords and air line. I just have to figure out how to make it 15m long. Thanks for sharing.
Nice job. I wanted to build one like this years ago, but also to hang up the tools on the boom, I was thinking lot about the construction, especially when about 10kg of tools hang off at the end, skipped the folding design. Then I found a 5m long tool boom used with a heavy duty c channel where the outlet is gliding forth and back on the internet for 40€ and took that instead. Spend more on gas than on the boom, but it was well worth it. Greetings from Germany.
Festool has had this idea in production for over 15 years. Has different modules that hang at the end..( kind reminds me of stuff in a hospital). It has power, compressed air ( which you can regulate at the box) , and a vacuum
Loved the Sawhorses @ 7:40. Also using the winch instead of a ladder to get on top of the table @ 11:53. I have a number of heavy boxes stored high on shelves and you've given me the idea to add a trolly and winch to my Garage to bring them up and down instead of using a ladder (not enough room for a mini-fork lift) One question - Is there an issue with the wooden arm sagging in the future (especially if adding Vacuum)? If so, any issues adding a cable with a turnbuckle like you had on the main arm? Also, does the bottom lock in the middle help to prevent the outer arm from sagging?
Fantastic I was wondering how to put power to the middle of my shop at the moment I use extension cords now I will make one of these mine wont need to be as big my shed is only 9.2m X 7.5m
Like the idea of light and power anywhere on the floor. The guys forged eye nut anchors are loaded very acutely. The guy would be stronger if their centerlines were more aligned with the load.

Incredibly inventive engineering. Quality of your builds is unmatched.

Excellent. Full of great ideas for other folks to use. Thanks for sharing!
I have a 4x4 post in my bedroom.Something like this would make a cool monitor mount.
You should add another one of those plywood sections so that it hinges out in the other direction, so that you can have double the reach. Since both can fold back away from one another, they shouldn't get in the way of each other.

Impressive and very fonctionnal Nice !!
Thanks 😊
I don’t think I’d ever build one of these extension arms but yours turned out excellent. Great job and craftsmanship!
Thank you 😊
I like your idea a lot. Never thought about a jib crane with electric, air, and lights. That’s one hell of an idea! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks ☺️

Brilliant work, Andriy! 😃
I thought you were building it to help with heavy materials... But that's even better!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks a lot 😊

Gracias 😊
I made one and ran my dust collector through and can't live without it. Now I want to do upgrades after seeing this!

Thanks a lot for so warm words ☺️ Aldo thank you for support 🙏🏻 It’s realy important for me and all Ukrainian peoples)
Excellent work!
Thanks 😊
Disregard my other comment on your amazing work table video. I found this about 30 seconds after I posted the other comment.
Hello vere congrats on 998k can’t wait to see 1 mill🎉

Pretty much the GOAT of shop boom arms
Made one of these a few years ago with power outlets, a 500kg hoist on rollers and the main body was a 10 bar air reservoir for compressed air tools. Very handy.
Overall nice build, but i don't like it from the electrical point of view, twisting wires together and using heatsink ist not considered safe i.m.o.
Totally agree!
Now you can attach your camera and get aerial shots
I like it. Light, electric and air, no vacuum?? Really like your over head crane or gantry crane ;o)
Thank you) I left there place for vacuum) in plans)
Nice build. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Top idea, top mechanical implementation, but dangerous and crappy cabling! Wagos or crimping- equipment are much safer, faster and cost only a little amount of money - especially in comparison to a fire or an electrical accident 🤷🏻♂️
Ficou muito bom.
Parabéns.
Acompanho o seu trabalho.
obrigado😊
Good job
Thanks ☺️
Fantastic !!!!! Glad I asked on your instagram
Big shop you got down there.. 😉
Has a lift crane, makes an insane boom arm, and has self built cross cut sled, but….. free hands on table saw bc he doesn’t have a tapering jig?
I agree, made my naval suck in big time when I saw that "freehand taper!

Put a camera mount on that thing! Add a stepper motor or winch on there and you could have some really cool shots
I'm making one of these but will also have dust extraction. Has to be shorter though as one that long will hit my wall on the other side of my workshop. LOl
Only the first of your videos I've seen. I guess I have another rabbit hole to go down. Very well done!!

ridiculous amount work and material for lighting
I agree, it's perfect
Well done
Brilliant idea and a brilliant work. I loved the locking system. Great work mate. Thanks for the video
Thanks a lot)))

I will rob your entire workshop to India like Hanumanji lift a mountain for sanjeevni,
Nice workshop bro.
That locking mechanism is epic :D
As I understand that wood piece of the construction you made using black magic, right?))

super project, you could also add an aspiration later to complete it. congrats
Thank you! Yes, I also thought about it 👍
Man, that is awesome! I would add a vacuum outlet, I think, but that's a mnor detail. Your shop is pretty amazing too. Instant sub.
Came here to find this comment! Absolutely need to add a vacuum hose in there!
Thanks a lot 😊I also thought about vacuum hose)so left there place for additional devices)
Love the boom but I want the SHOP! Lol
Well done!
Thank you 😊
dude free handing an angle cut on a table saw earned my sub. gotta be painful dragging those balls of steel around the shop all day. 😂
Super complimenti veramente così voglio fare anche io
Very well done! And, of course, super useful helper in workshop. All the best from Lithuania!
Thank you ☺️
Dual cranes? I’m jealous.
I always install my Jib crane with my overhead gantry
Very very compliment!!!by Marco
More commercials than an hour long TV show. No thanks!
What a brilliant/creative idea that is. Superb video.
Thanks a lot!
Your new shop is just getting better and better, super!
Thank you)))
Hello Friend Boiseux,
Superb articulated arm well made and practical, why not have included the suction for electric machines in 220 Vlt?
Sincerely, Alain from Belgium.
I connect when there is a need. For this, there is a T-track and additional fasteners. Forgot to show on video)
Love it! Bet you could stuff some dust extraction in there too!
Position locking mechanisms? Innovative!
Shop equipment:
Bridge Crane? Check.
Boom Arm? Check.
Saw Horses you can park a semi-truck on top of? Check.
Ladder?
Ladder?
ok👍 will add it to my work list 😄
Maybe adding another pair of lights on the metal part could provide full light over the miter station when extended? Awesome build anyway!
it is possible, but there is no need for me at the moment😊 thank you))
Very good system got vacum system now 😀👍

Thanks for watching 😊
Wow, I wonder how many pounds she can stand
Wow it's really impressive, great idea and better job! If someday I'll get a workshop same size than yours I'll build it for sure!
The Boom Arm is super cool and all, but... DUDE, you have a GANTRY CRANE!
yes, but Boom is more comfortable in routine work)
Good work
Thanks ☺️
super travail je suis admiratif bravo
Merci ☺️

A PAIR OF LIGHTS ON THE METAL BOOM WOULD BE GOOD TOO
Super le travail 😍👍
Thought about it. Nope I don't need one.
Congratulations, very fancy. What city is this beautiful building located in?
Thank you! Lviv region, Ukraine 🇺🇦
