Saw the latest prototype yesterday in DC and it's amazing. Jon has once again taken this design to a next level. At this point, I'm just waiting for the ordering to open up.
Great review! I have the mint dial V3 Freediver, which I love, but I think this V4 is even better. The biggest improvement for me is the aesthetic decision to 'square off' the indices & handset. It's as if they chopped off the slightly rounded ends of the indices, hour & minute hand of the V3, in order to give the V4 a more aggressive 'shark-toothy' look. I think it's a vast improvement, as I'm not crazy about the dial furniture on my V3 (save the mint color, which is awesome). Cool video, thanks for sharing, Mark!
I would definitely like to see a microbrand best divers under $1K video. Candidates for the list in addition to the Traska: Baltic Aquascaphe dual-crown, Tornek-Rayville TR-660, maybe a Unimatic U1S-MP, Vaer D7 Arctic White, and the Zelos Mako V3.
Really appreciate your review. This is the model and color-way that I am looking to get on Sunday when they are released. (minus the date window) Any other details you can share about the dial?
@@robbbbery felt cheap, finishing was rudimentary, the coating was not applied evenly throughout the watch in multiple places and clearly visible and the lume wasn’t nearly as good as all the reviews on RUclips claimed it to be. Too bad, waited two years to pull the trigger on one and I love the aesthetic. Also the bezel has tons of back play- by almost two clicks and didn’t line up
Sorry to be a killjoy (again) but what is it with this imperial AND metric?? First, this measurement is not needed on the front of the dial. I mean - really - how often to you need to read this? Then there is the insult: Not one person who could afford this watch does not know what EITHER the metric or imperial measurement is in their own jurisdiction.

I have the no-date (9039) stone gray dial. It is gorgeous and a joy to wear.
How is the logo and indice application? Have had issues with traska watches in past

I have the no date variant of this. It's beautiful. Quickly become one of my favourites in my collection
Can you hear the rotor spin? I had a traska commuter and the rotor was loud as hell

Have to add the Halios Fairwind, which wins imo
Astor Banks Fortitude Lite too!
Am waiting on the restock for a mint freediver
One of these days I will pick up a Traska. 👍👍
Shane there is no on the fly micro adjust. Nodus have just started doing that.
Superb video and professional review! Been thinking about getting one, the one without date. It deserves the wait!
Nice watch 😇, just missing the microadjust clasp on the fly..
Thing i hate on micro brand is most of their watches are alwayd out of stock
Looks like a Sinn.

Bunt the black one, no date. I was super disappointed with it, ended up returning it. Great customer service though!
I'm curious, what disappointed you about it?

@@Billeh556 good to know, thank you!
Please can we do something besides an oyster bracelet!
Can you compare it to cw 60 600 in white face?
Why no weight specified?
Different weights for different bracelet sizes
