I played omen because I can't secure kills and I thought that I should help the team. I'm always the first one in, even as Omen. When I play duelist, I create space but I just have bad aim. If I don't play phoenix, no one will create space. I've noticed in my own vods that I always peek first on both def and offensive
@@xomcs8676 yup. I was bronze, played with buddies got up to gold, they all quit and now I can hover between gold/plat. All it takes is watching some dragonmar and some friends
@@xomcs8676 i went from bronze 2 at the beginning to gold 3 now it took alot but follow this advice and have a positive mental and u will see a huge difference no joke i stopped doing alot of what hes saying and instantly started climbing before i even saw this vid silver is the hardest rank to get out of though lol
I notice that whenever I die with Raze, it's not because my aim is bad, it's mostly because of my positioning and not using my utility, I see myself dying waaaay too much with boom bot and blast packs still on me.
Yeah, thats definitely a good indication that the order in which you use utility can be improved. Boombot is key to good Raze usage, blast packs are slightly less important
Ult farming is great, and OFTEN times you'll find that if you contest the orb enough and win the initial rounds by doing it the enemy MAY actually just back off completely.
@@Raj-mb6uk a lot of gold players I’ve seen through my experience solo queueing, they like to pop off and they’ve done some serious aim training so they have all the confidence in the world, it’s not a bad thing but they try to 1v5, there’s a lot more to it but that’s essentially what I’ve seen
Lmfao my teammate can literally be on my asshole when I entry frag and as soon as I get killed, that teammate immediately backs up and runs for cover. No one wants to trade.
If I'm playing Jett or Reyna I am always entering sites or swinging corners first as long as I'm getting consistent first bloods or being traded by cooperative teammates, but as soon as I see I'm not getting either of those or my team is toxic I start playing a lot more selfishly...

Seeking first blood is good, but you have to remember to also play SMART. Doing the same thing over and over is too predictable! Change things up, and have your team support you

I often entry on Jett when Pheonix/Reyna aren’t if I have a rifle but would you say it’s still a good idea to entry on jett if u have an operator? and if not what role should u play on Attack?
I'm beyond excited for the new agent to come... I prefer lurking more than entry and I want the lethality that duelist abilities have. Once he's out, duelists as a term would have to be swapped for entry fraggers.
I used to be otp Cypher and I was struggling to get out of plat, I trained Reyna for 2 weeks and I peaked diamond 2, in this game in order to play a sentinel and be effective, the teammates of your team needs to know how to play around a sentinel otherwise its a waste of a pick

There is good and bad to it. Obviously I am pointing out the bad side, but sometimes it comes in handy when YOU need to try something to take control of the game honestly. It's just that it ends up corrupting people, and making them do too many dumb things
@@Dragonmar Yeah I definitely tend to do that and even lose focus and go on auto pilot a lot. Like when I'm playing custom matches like my plat/diamond friend I feel like I'm a lot more focused because I don't feel like I have to carry. I end up playing pretty well against diamonds somehow anyways (I'm silver 3). I gotta change my mindset.

Insta lock Jett, save smokes and dash for himself instead of entry. later on when we are defending on bind, team already said "B! B!", our duelist jett made a long rotation from A (that side where u collect orb) to B-long, then Crouch and walk in. Manage to fire a few shots at enemy which reveals his location and yep. no kills. and by then, he was already the last one standing. Our duelist
the most annoying thing recently was when there 3 insta lock duelist. a reyna, neon and raze. I did not mind supporting, and thankfully one choose fade for scout. The best part? None of the fucking duelists are making entry. I was playing Sage and had no choice but to the entry because they would flank and die with no kills or just stay behind all the time. Like what? I would not mind it you kniw, they could be new or just dont understand the agents' uses are. BUT. to keep on trashtalking is just made me tilted.

i have a friend,old csgo player and ive only played PUBG, so hes far better than me.. he always top frags but the thing is, he always lurks and hardly never helps us push sites, im always pheonx or reyna, so i do most of the entry.. and then he will start complaining when we loose.. am i out of my mind to think that part of why we are loosing is his fault? because by the time were all dead, hes still at mid, and he ends up fighting 1v 2 or even more.. im one month old into the game by the way..
I play two duelists reyna and raze i also play sova though....but back to duelists i am usually the 1st or 2nd person (when a another duelists joins me from other side ) and i go and see if there r enemies if there r if more than 3 then i usually don't contest but yes i i try to give them damage and join my team.....if there r 1 or 2 ppl then i usually isolate the ange to get a 1v1 and kill and heal coz sage in ky team is more selfish than a duelist.....lol....thats how i play bro
Idk why but most duelist in silver - gold bracket are baiters and doesn't want to entry. 90% of the time they want to flank that doesn't provide value for the team
Breach works better as a duelist than jett. Multiple quick flashes are are way better than jett's dash and jump to enter. Jett is second in agent to act after flashes. Going first in hardly ever works unless you dash into smoke to hide. Due to the delay after she dashes and all the flashes that can screw her after she dashes, she needs assistance from initiators.
I always thought my teammates were holding me back (I'm silver 1) as I would usually top frag or get 20-30 kills every game but this video made me realize that I'm to be blamed too. I always focus too much on kills rather than what actually matters - wins. This is a big problem which I wish to resolve. Thank you for helping me look at stuff from a new perspective.
Honestly, I think that Reyna DOES have a selfish side to her just because her getting kills is everything. That does NOT mean that they cannot flash for teammates, but securing kills as Reyna to heal is core to playing her
Idk if you’ll see this but I play Jett and say it’s a mid push for split I dash into vents and either kill the person there or hold it would it be better to just leave it or hold that map control for my team
My aim is not the best, thats why i prefer to play an initiator and setup plays to help those all aim no brain type duelist teammates. This way i can contribute to our teamwork.
Not necessarily top frag but if you're not winning your 1v1s and not getting impact kills, you deserve to be shouted at. I mean the whole utility set of duelists are centered around winning fights. If you're not doing that, you're better off using any other agent class that can help support the team.
I am happy not to do those things I used to play omen and killjoy, amd started playing raze and jett, now i win more games and ranked up I always thought myself as a bad player (val is my first fps) and that made me choose less agressive agents. Now i know that I don't suck And this video showed me that I don't do wrong things, the only thing that i do is push ct on post plant( I thought it was a good thing to get more space, so a did not understood that one) I don't push too much, only to get the other team off guard.
If I'm on accent as jett with an op, (b push)would I go mid to kill the guy who is peaking or go help my team push in. Correct me if i’m wrong but I would assume I’d go mid,

I really do think i need to work on my positioning. If im wifh my team how do i go first? There is usually someone in front of me so I can't flash around a corner so i dont use the ability and the first guy dies...
I am that duelist who does badly in attacking halves... I just don't know what it is... I main Jett with an OP so it is probably that... Cause I would say Jett is the weakest entry fragger. When I play Phoenix I do much better on attack but way worse on defense
As a Raze main, I never really top frag, im usually near the bottom but I keep getting the most Assist because of my nades and boombot. Maybe I'm playing it wrong =( but I win more games than I lose though

Blast packs can be used to clear corners, do damage and for movement
My game plan on haven as a pheonix main pretty much revolves around ult orbs. It's won me so many games since the ult is so good
Ult farming is so good when your on raze
You should also try to be the one who plants the bomb, another point for your ult.

What is enough first bloods I’m Reyna main and get like 3-5 per game
So a match is between 13 and 25 rounds, lets say an average match is 20.
2 first bloods is a pure average, 5 is where a duelist should aim
I play sentinels and controller but still also have the carry or lose mindset. I should breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaath and callm down more lmao.

As a Phoenix main I always try to play long on maps so I can get the orbs if enemies don’t push that area

As a non-duelist main this is actually pretty helpful (basically (not really lol) take your advice and do the opposite xD)

I really do think i need to work on my positioning. If im wifh my team how do i go first? There is usually someone in front of me so I can't flash around a corner so i dont use the ability and the first guy dies...

I am that duelist who does badly in attacking halves... I just don't know what it is... I main Jett with an OP so it is probably that... Cause I would say Jett is the weakest entry fragger.
When I play Phoenix I do much better on attack but way worse on defense

As a Raze main, I never really top frag, im usually near the bottom but I keep getting the most Assist because of my nades and boombot. Maybe I'm playing it wrong =( but I win more games than I lose though
