Not sure what you are trying to accomplish adding two 80mm fans and only drilling a few holes for the air ingress. the fan for the processors is only going to take in what it can take in and it is ducted to exhaust to the rear. Neat but it looks cheap.
That's amazing man! Nice work, it looks great. Loved the editing and the music, especially the intro. Can't wait to see the breakdown video, it's very out of my comfort zone but i'd love to take a shot at this mod in some fashion.
If there were any reductions it would be due to new thermal paste not the additional fans. EvilNat 4.90 has fan speed controls built in for specific temp ranges and works very well.
Very cool love the design. From what show/game is the mech? (Evangelion/ Zone of enders/ something Gundam). I would like to do a custom PS3 one day (Phat or Slim). Though I have a silly idea in mind, Imagine a PS3 slim with two PC fans (Cooler master hyper 212 style) poking out of the top case. Almost like a supercharger 😅😆, but the mounting arrangement and my skills will be the issue.
NO ONE cut out the top of the case above the centrifugal fan! Just DON'T. They are specifically DESIGNED to use channels and proper air pressure to cool the device they are attached to. Cutting holes in the top of your case introduces more contaminants AND completely disrupts the correct air pressure and channels throughout the case a heatsink. HORRIBLE idea. It looks cool, I'll give you that. If you want to do your PS3 a favor, cut out larger channels in the FRONT and REAR (rear isn't needed as much) and replace factory TIM with something of higher quality and you're good to go. This is pointless and a waste of time.
I got a ps3 slim on the side of the road I think having a hole in the top is better than it being in a landfill. You gotta realize that some people have very little care for these because they’re so cheap compared to what they were years ago. I’ve got 2 and I’ve had one since I was a kid. I’m not chopping that up ever, the other one I put overclocked firmware and custom fan profiles on just to experiment with, my total investment is $0 so I don’t really care if it pops.
@@speck8419 that's perfectly fair. My PS3 2500 was brand new just a few months ago so I just tend to care a little more. No reason to blow them up on purpose or damage them irreparably if you can help it.
Looks like he used a set of fans that use an RGB fan controller. He left the fan controller outside of the case, and powered it using a SATA power to AC adapter.
hi, why you make only 4 holes fpr the fan ? why not a big one on the dimension of the fan that mean an 80mm ? (i dont speak about the screws holes to attach the fan to the console) thank you
as cool as it looks, the ps3 slim doesn't really need this mod, it is already pretty quiet and doesnt overheat, of course that's only if you actually take care of your ps3 and don't leave it in an unventilated place and let it gather dust, also changing the thermal paste to something half decent also goes a long way
@@Fogolol yes, if u use evilnat they have a custom update that oc’s your ps3 it works awesome for me and its def worth it just make sure u use webman mod for fan control
this breakcore music is so fucking fire holy shit
Beautiful work bro this console is my favorite for life ordered one to replay all good memories

I love the Gundam design
What's the price? 😎
This video gonna blow up views real soon.
That’s an awesome setup.
Wow great design
Thank you so much
great job but It would be better if we could see the temperature values with multiman later.

like for using a himitsu as music for the video very good taste 🗿🍷!!!! The work with the console was amazing!!!!!

holy moly 😍
You are very gifted!
this is just amazing.
Lindo trabalho parabéns Vídeo inspirador 👏👏👏👍
where do you connect the additional fans power to?
Badass
You have to sand the case before you paint it
DOPE! Did you sand the painted blue part down near the power and eject button?
dope I didn't do any type of sanding.
Sick mod! Wish the vid was 10 mins long, it was over too quick.
play it at .25 speed.
I would totally send in mind to so you can delid it change the thermal paste paint it and put 2 fans just likes yours I pay good money
Coolio work, how did you power the 2 additional fans?

love Voltus 5!
That's a psuedo Hatsune miku ps3 hehehe looks cool!
Amazing nice work indeed but which country are ?
Hi I am in the US.

if your ps3 is cfw or gen, you can show the tempeture in a short video
De dónde sale la alimentación de los fan RGB? Desde la PCB o desde una fuente externa?
4:28 are those two fans sucking the hot air out of blowing cool air in?
where you get that fan grill from on top of the case?

works for overclocking
@@m3e642 Wait you can overclock a ps3? WELL COUNT ME IN!

@@m3e642 oh but that requires a full CFW right? i wasnt able to do that on mine so i'm using HEN
@@Fogolol yes, it does require full cfw
Can you made it for ps3 fat too?
Does anyone know where I can get the grill for the fan? (I don't speak English, use a translator)
Now try overclock it
Oh wait nevermind... Just found the video
