What upgrades have you done to your PS3?

when do you remove USB once everything’s finished and back up and running?
Yes, once it boots up like a PS3 you can take it out.
Where'd u order that ssd? My current hard drive is failing in my ps3

Why not just install custom firmware? Do I have to install the original firmware first?
Yes, you need the original firmware. CFW works with the PS3 software. It doesn't replace it.
