- Today The Royal Mint released a Queen's Beasts coin - the final Queen's Beasts coin celebrating all of the Queen's Beasts series of coins - on one coin!
They sold out - in the main, very quickly, as expected! According to reports it also included a 10 Kg Gold Coin - the first The Royal Mint have minted! (Although, I didn't see evidence of it on the site..)

the 2oz silver proof now is now mintage 750
Yes, I noticed this recently - I'm hoping it was a mistake. I don't think the average collector will take it well, if The Royal Mint were trying to mislead people by giving false edition limits to any of their coin releases! 🤔

An absolutely stunning coin 😍 and a complete surprise to me they were releasing a completer coin. I’ve ordered the Bunc as my husband has the complete set of Queens Beasts. Its right up the top there for its design in my opinion . Yes it baffles me also how they can sell out in such a small space of time. They must be reserved for certain clients surely .
I was expecting a 'completer set,' if I'm honest - but yeah, the gold coins all sold out before I got a look at them - not that I'm going to spend £63k+ on a coin right now! 🤣
As I was looking last night, even some of the early BU Queen's Beasts are selling for £125+ online - so even that is unbelievable, to me! Glad your husband has the complete set though, they are sought after coins! 👍

@@CoinPig It's the only coins he actually owns as I'm the coin collector 😆 He just loved them when he first saw them and carried on with the collection . Wow that's unbelievable they are selling on line for that much 😳.
I think they should've done something different with the obverse. Surely to be legal tender her portrait on one side would've been enough?

@@CoinPig I’d have to say so, when considering the thought behind the Mega Beast coin, most have missed it and can’t see the design details that’s gone into the making of this coin over the last 5 years.
I’ll give my 10ps worth once I get them in hand!
That 1oz gold coin is £2000 Sterling on your screen. I’ve just bought one for £1370 from Baird mint. How u work that one out then ?

i think they sold all the 2oz to LPM , which lpm states they are EXCLUSIVE , however mintages are different so i am confused
I expect they have a side deal, but I doubt they have an exclusive, since TRM had them on their website...so I too am confused, tbh! 🤷🏻♂️

Me got a few of these today!
Was not easy. I secured a few myself. This one was the most difficult experience I’ve had at the royal mint so far.
@@NOSEMATICS it’s a utter painful process on the web, I had quite a few friends and family bidding got 5 &1oz golds,😀

@@NOSEMATICS was always going to be a feeding frenzy. What gave me a massive LOL moment this morning about 9:15am once everything had gone I got the RM launch email........there’s me thinking the RM did not have a sense of humour. Gave me a right laugh!
