The reason doom never works in movies is because no one is willing to put in the work to learn how much of a threat doom really is. He is not only comparable to Thanos in threat and power but he is also more likable as a villain and more sympathetic. Doom would truly be a wonderful villain to see on screen but most directors look at him and go. “ Green cape shiny mask, must be a side villain.” I don’t think even RDJ can do justice for Doom here. Not unless Henry Cavil does the directing or something.

I have a deep hatred for doom. Thought his character was interesting until almost every comic book fan glazed him into oblivion.
