YNW Melly is currently sitting in jail for two counts of 1st degree murder. He's definitely one of the most twisted rappers of our generation, but something about his music was different and special.

@Karma well technically you can, in Canada the "lean" they prescribe contains no promethazine and just pure hydrocodone (which is much stronger than codeine). Also, promethazine can be sold separately as pills.

Ynw melly is facing a double homicide case right now, it’s a really interesting case because based on the evidence it’s really hard to tell if he did it or if it was a drive by

@@baconcaliber8729 they are not even letting him see the lawyer or brush his teeth or seek medical attention so yeah. They are basically breaking most of the human rights and that's what is truly disgusting about this case. Not even saying he is diagnosed with bipolar disorder and should be in continues psychological treatment which he is not receiving as well.

In early 2019 he was arrested and charged in connection of the murders of his two friends and former crew members, who passed away in October of 2018. He’s currently awaiting trial almost four years later, even with certain evidence that the state of Florida has against him, him, his friends, and family still claim his innocence and are in high hopes of him getting out, as they claim it wasn’t him who committed the crimes. It’s an unfortunate situation, but interesting at the very least. If he did do it there’s no apparent reason that anyone knows of at the moment. If found innocent, he’ll be promised a successful career, but if found guilty, he’ll possibly face the death penalty.
pretty sure the death penalty was recently taken out of his case. not sure how to describe it properly but they can no longer give him the death penalty.

I feel maybe this song is a metaphor for his own internal conflicts where it feels like part of him is dying and another part is responsible for that
His live performance of this song is incredible. You realize that there is little to no production to help his voice throughout

the mix is just better, he already re recorded this song, the original had a rougher mix and a slower beat. The Genius live performance is open mic, but they all have their vocal plugins on, for example if Lil Yatchy was on genius and performed "Poland" live they would have tremolo on the mix the same way it is in the song

lets goo finally you reacted to this, i knew it was gonna come eventually. oh boy the story of ynw melly is so interesting. the thing that makes this song especially eerie, and it’s why it blew up, is because he’s currently in prison facing charges for killing his two friends and staging it to make it look like it was a random drive by. the thing is he’s been in prison for over 3 and a half years now but is still yet to be charged…. hopefully i explained it all right, i’m sure other comments have done it better.

Cufboys is a youtuber who has covered mellys trial. Melly has multiple personalities as we are unsure what version of melly was present during the crime he is under the spotlight for.
Tom I am curious to know your take on this. Melly has grills on his teeth. And they are refusing to let melly get treatment on his teeth while he is locked up. Which can and I think is leading to dental issues. Is this legal?
Melly is definitely going through it while locked behind bars. I hope he gets better treatment regardless if he is responsible for the crime or not.
Something tells me he isn't though if the trial keeps getting pushed to a later date.
They want to Even hse mellys music against him in his own trial which got rejected. That proves the prosecutors have little to no evidence against melly and they are just reaching for anything and everything at this moment.

It’s a weird world and when drugs are in your system which I almost assured you he had in him at the time can make small hateful feeling towards someone go crazy and he might not have been thinking perfectly fine at that moment

My mother in law was the admin for the principal of Vero Beach High School where Melly went & she said he was a skinny little thing who was very quiet & VERY respectful even when a friend was with him & she had to deal with him. He always was yes ma'am, no ma'am & the teachers said he was the exact same way in class

I hope you know when he says he has murder on his mind hes not saying yes waking up everyday thinking to kill someone. Hes saying the murder of his bestfriend who he accidentally shot is on his mind and will be with everything he does. Him and his friend were doing a home invasion and his friend scared him by running up on him from behind with a mask and so melly shot him not knowing it was his friend.
It's still murder. The person he murdered will never walk this earth again. He was breaking and entering someone's home, Criminal Tresspassing And Murder . He made that choice. Now the law will choose his debt.

I don’t think Melly is one of the twisted artists of our generation. I legit think he’s possessed by a demon. A big majority of rappers commit major crimes like Melly did such as King Von, Lil Durk, Drake and Travis Scott. Plus, Melly also talks about this person named Melvin that makes him do bad stuff. People and medicine doctors dismissed it as an alternate personality disorder but I don’t think thats it. In his song Mind of Melvin, he says these lyrics:

As you can see, Melly talks about this Demon he met in his dreams that is attached to him which makes him do things and he can’t control him past night time. He even said so in an interview. He as well in this song referred to himself as a Bible Tarantula which sounds Demonic asf. Also sounds like Uzi is affected by Melvin because he was such good friends with Melly and they would hangout. Y’all can say i’m stretching this far but this doesn’t just sound like any other twisted rapper, this sounds like something more evil sinister and Demonic and that may be the reason that he made a song about Jesus and wrote this song, as a cry for help and to show he is innocent.
im not entirely sure so diehard fans correct me but im pretty sure when melly was a child he thought someone was breaking into his house and accidentally shot his friend which was the origin for this song. I remember hearing this somewhere
