Good idea if you are beginning to learn touch typing, as you might need to know the keyboard placement in order to avoid strain.

Love this video! I am assisting grade school (4th and 5th) children with learning to type with all 10 fingers, they aren't proficient with the 2-finger type yet so this will help them! I am old school and type the "correct" way :)

The problem with me is, I only use two finger on the left while typing. I use the other fingers on my left hand when i needed to. I am comfortable typing with only using the two fingers on the left hand.

Proper touch typing will not lead to strain, that’s why. It won’t necessarily help you to touch type faster, but it’s better to learn the proper way vs improper. I reached 110 wpm without using my pinky and thumbs.

Just saying that good posture thing is a myth. You don't have to sit up straight all the time. Just dont turn sideways. You have to alternate between leaning back and forward from hour to hour. Sitting up straight all the time actually injures you.

Print out a photo of the proper finger positions, and get them a blank keyboard or make sure that they cannot look at the keyboard somehow -- keep the tray underneath the desk and make sure that they keep it there.
Once that's done, you should get them to write a story. It's actually really fun, and a really good way to improve typing speed. I'm at about 60 WPM right now on the Dvorak layout, and I've been at it for a little over a month. You might want to introduce this layout to your kids so that they can be really fast and avoid injury in the future.

he was talking so much that I had to shave then decided to take my shower and after I was done he was still talking !! so I wanted to make me a cappuccino but the milk was spoiled so went down to the store to buy me milk but there was a line !!!! Damn !!! that old lady was counting her pennies and after counting them she dropped them on the floor and the 5 guys ahead of me was so nice they helped the poor lady to find her pennies but she was 2 pennies short so I helped her !! then by the time it was my turn the cashier had a phone call and she said it was an emergency !!!! so I waited 4 minutes and then she runged me up and I ran up to my apartment but it turned out that I lost my keys !!!! so I traced my steps half of block and voila I found them so I ran back up and got into my place and he was still Talking !!!!!

Well I might fail typing class due to my improper posture, but I still reached 90-100 wpm. Jobs don’t care how you type, it’s what you type, and how much accuracy you have. 90% accuracy should always be your main goal.
Please, hunt and peck users, learn how to touch type the proper way, it will help you in the long run.
