Don’t forget - those are their current ages. At the concert in Aug 2022 they were 17, 20, and 22! Already seasoned professionals and masters of their craft.
They formed the band in 2013, had a massive viral vid in 2014, and released an EP in 2015!!

Concert is from 2022 when they were 22-20-17 and the song is from their 2018 album Queen of the Murder Scene when they were 18-16-13. In addition to writing all the lyrics on that album they also recieved professional credits for arranging, producing and mixing.

This is from their concept album Queen of the murder scene, it’s the first track which is a prologue to the album, like a lot of their songs it’s dark and fits perfectly with the theme of the album.
The Teatro (Tay atro) Metropolitan CDMX concert is professionally recorded on multiple cameras, excellent quality! Any track from this concert is good so you can take your pick (Z is the first track). If you want to dig deeper then look up the QOTMS Lunario concert and you could follow that.

Very well said, and succinctly too. Between those 2 concerts you have the bulk of their original material, but so many additional concerts and small shows have things found nowhere else. It's always a holiday when one goes looking for the next The Warning track (or vlog or interview, etc..).
And the bassist Ale was not even a teenager yet. When they wrote this album.
You got here and there's not turning back, you've been "Warned"! A three-piece of incredible talented Mexican sisters and it needs to be said: "PAULINA VILLARREAL VELEZ IS A MUSIC PRODIGY" (drummer, singer, pianist and main lyricist of the band), a generational talent that the world needs to find out about...

In a recent Patreon VLOG, I think they alluded to the idea that all three are writing on the next album...more so than in past albums. They all have always contributed to their compositions, with Pau writing a majority of lyrics, but maybe we will see more writing credits on this 4th album.

True rock prodigies. I love every song from their first 3 full albums and their 4th is due any time now.

Go see them while they're in Europe. They are getting more and more popular and you won't be able to see them in small venues very much longer. They're also selling out all over the place. I've seen them live 5 times and would have made the trip to Europe to see them again if the money had been available. I would suggest Disciple from this same Teatro Metropolitan show next or maybe Evolve from the VMAs.

Great reaction. Yeah, the talent on that stage is pretty impressive. Hella noise from only three musicians, eh? In this concert they are 17, 20, and 22. 3500 in the audience. Yes, live is their special sauce. They all say that they just want to be on stage playing for people.
More lead drummer vocal? From this concert try Survive, or 23, or Disciple (where they trade off vocals). They have a deep catalog. There are a number of reactors who have started Warning Wednesdays. They have enough materials for a year's worth of listening.

Pau sings lead or co-lead in about 20-25% of the songs. They have close to 50 songs and not a bad one in the bunch, so if you want to do this weekly, just go to their channel, find the whole show from Teatro Metropolitan and go through it song by song, that's 22 reactions right there.

Yes indeed, they are young, the Bass player is only 19. But they've been performing together as a Band for ten years now. At one video per week, you're going to be busy for about the next one to two years I'd say... Enjoy the ride my friend!!!

@@joelyjamz - Actually, the bassist Alejandra has sung lead but only when her sister Daniela is not feeling well. Ale prefers not to sing lead but she can, and you can find several YT videos that showcase her.

I don't know, but when you listen to fancam recordings, she sounds pretty much like this. She has been singing with this setup for around 10 years, so her and their audio engineer have had a lot of practice.

December of 2023 Ale (on bass), the youngest sister, turned 19 - 2024 is her last year as a teenager. So, in August of 2022, when this was recorded, she was17, Dani, the oldest was 22 and Pau on drums was 20. And they've been doing this for a decade (you do the math). There videos are amazing, it's just that, live they're even amazinger ;-)

It will be great if we have TW here once a week but for their 50 or more original pieces, plus covers, acoustics, various versions, etc., it seems very few to me.
Without taking into account that their new releases will appear.
They have a formidable innate talent, each one of them.
Innate but with practice taken to the sublime.
Despite their youth, they already have a lot of experience along the way in addition to their great preparation since they were little girls.
Their attitude, discipline and willingness to achieve their goals are leading them to great and well-deserved achievements.
Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra are still on the path to the top, but with too much potential, enough to think that reaching it will be inevitable.
Furthermore, the volume of quality that each of their creations implies is great… and the number of songs that carry said quality is enormous, which for me could be “The Warning label.”
I’m sure that each of their creations is subjected to a meticulous quality process before finally seeing the light…
And not only in the technical aspect, but they have also already shown that they have an exquisite taste for the good music that emanates from them when they become inspired and creative.
Added to all this is that they are surrounded by an excellent family and a fraternal team totally committed to their project...
And they have a fan base, “The Warning Army”, tremendously loyal to them (and exponentially growing too) that is decisively involved in supporting them because they have deservedly earned it for being incredible and surprising human beings.
Knowing this will give you a much better perspective to better value DPA, and maybe you will understand that TW is not just a band of talented young women who make good songs...
No, it’s about music, really about art with the brilliance of a "masterpiece" created and performed by three genius female performers from an early age who have been developing and evolving by leaps and bounds.
The beauty of their art lies in its simplicity.
Allways everybody have to appreciate each of these amazing rock masterpieces in all their dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop.
Dany, Pau & Ale are already admirable but their potential increases exponentially as they achieve success.
As long as all this continues to flow with this equation, soon they will reach the top of the world where they deserve to be.

@@joelyjamz Seconded! What a great song and an even better performance. When you get around to this song, the person they mention is Beto Ramos, one of Pau's drum teachers and mentor. He also mixed the audio for the release of this concert. Also, don't be alarmed by the occasional minor mismatch between the video and what you hear. This is because they took video from both nights of the concerts but audio from only one of them. Narcisista is one of the more obvious for this and has caused some reactors to wonder if it was really live, which it definitely is. Revenant is another song where this is apparent; Dany sometimes has a plush toy on her lap and sometimes not depending on the camera angle. Looking forward to it!

Since we're talking about their ages here, it's worth mentioning that Ale wrote that bass line (which the whole song is built upon) when she was only 12 years old. All things considered, i think it's safe to say all three of the sisters were musical prodigies!

Incredible drummer, incredible singer, also classically trained on piano (they all are), and she is also the main song writer.

The drummer Pau (POW!) is also the band's primary songwriter, beginning most of their songs on piano or keyboards, before bringing them to her sisters to turn them into bangers like this. This song was built upon Ale's (Al-lay) bassline, written when she was likely 12 or so. The song went on to be the opening track to their 2018 concept (!!) album Queen Of The Murder Scene, released when they were 18, 16, and 13. It was their second full-length album.
While this Teatro show is perfect and polished, they recorded a full show in 2018 (Live At Lunario) where they debuted QOTMS by playing the full album from front to back. The show is much more raw and dirty, and is another great place to hear the band - especially as a way to hear QOTMS for the first time. Just pay attention to the track list as there are a few earlier songs played in between the album's "chapters".

Paulina (drummer) sings lead on 3 more songs at this show, Narcisista, Revenant and 23. They are the best songwriters of this generation, BUT, Their superpower is their live performances!! *Dust to Dust* is the intro song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul...
the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says...

DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons...
as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹

That is the Prologue to the album, *Queen of the Murder Scene,* their 2018 epic ROCK NOVEL in four parts of three songs each. Paulina (Pau, or POW!!!) sings lead on that and *The End.* Dany sings lead on the others. *Queen of the Murder Scene* is brilliant, and the best live performance of the album is the Lunario 2018 concert video. It is raw, dark, gritty, emotional, powerful, and shocking in its intensity. And it is performed by a 13-year-old bassist, a 16-year old drummer (who wrote much of it when she was 14!) and an 18-year-old lead guitarist. These three bilingual sisters from Monterrey, MX, are musical geniuses. Pau just won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award! In this 22-song concert video, she's singing and playing at 7300 feet above sea level. DON"T MISS *23* and *Revenant* if you like her voice. The whole concert is pure fire. All three of them are on top of their game, here.

After enjoying your reaction, I thought I'd have a look at whether they'll ever tour the UK....and now I've just bought tickets to see them live in Cardiff (which is handy as I live there) on their 4 date UK tour in April! 1:20 Look at Pau's left hand when she starts to sing. She reaches behind her back to adjust her in-ear without missing a beat. It's such a clean move you can't even tell she did it.
23 is another Pau masterpiece while drumming and singing lead. Also from this same show. Revenant Pau sings lead but not while drumming. Really shows her insane skills.

You haven't seen anything yet Joely.....22 absolutely fantastic bangers and 21 are originals from the Ladies. This Teatro Metropolitan CDMX live is without a doubt the best Live performance ever done...been listening to Rock for over 60 years, been to countless lives, this is best I have ever heard. Consider starting with the Opening song "Z" and just go down the set list. They do not have a "bad" song in their entire repertoire of music....none! The massive Warning Army will show up for you. 🤘🤘⚡⚡ The Ladies uploaded the entire concert on their YT channel for their fans. Many reactors have a "Warning Wednesday" featuring the Ladies each week.

Easy way to tell the approximate ages of the girls is that Dany was born in 2000, Paulina "Pau" is 2 years unger than Dany, and Ale the bass play is 3 years unger then Pau. So at this concert they were 22, 20, and 17 ish.

Welcome! It's funny because out of the dozens and dozens of reaction channels I have watched I finally found one (kinda sad actually) that didn't "get" this band. I told her that those many of us that do get this band knows they have a hook. They are much like crack cocaine in that for most of us it's one try and you are hooked. I saw that in your reaction for days! Welcome! This concert is a banger from start to finish. Best live concert I have seen. Outstanding production. I suggest starting at the beginning and running them in order. Another great choice is their recent MTV VMA performance. The MTV producer said over and open mike at the end of their set "HOLY SHIT". They simply KILLED IT! They have been doing this for 10 years as an original band and and bunch of covers preceding that. They have 2 eps and 3 studio albums including one that is a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. IMO, everything they have put out is at minimum, good and much of it is great. They have even charted as high as 5th in the US hard rock digital sales with S!CK and 8th with More. They also just recently signed with Lava records and there is a bunch of material on that as well as these gals managed to keep a TON of artistic creativity and much more with this contract. I suspect we are seeing them emerge into international stardom.

Pau, the drummer is 20 in this video. She’s been playing drums since she was 6. Yes, SIX. She has been singing while drumming almost as long. You mentioned Pau could be a front woman. Wait till you check out Narcissista from this same concert. Look for there cover of Back In Black or We Aren’t Gonna take it. She sings leads on those at a young age.

@@joelyjamzwe have learned over the years do not mess with Pau. A lot of instructors at the beginning wouldn’t take her. Too small, too young. She heard a lot of you can’t play drums, you’re a girl. Drums are for boys. So she’s parlayed that into what she is today. 2023 Drummer Magazine’s Up & Coming Drummer of the Year, 2023’Dremo Rock Drummer of the Year. Narcissista mentioned above was written when she/they got tired of hearing critics calling them cultural traitors for not singing in Spanish. Narcissista is basically a song flipping off the critics in Spanish. Anamosity was inspired by a child hood friend that told her one day when Pau said she had to practice. Why you waste time, that band won’t amount to anything.
Band-Maid and The Warning. Probably my top 2 right now. m There are a couple videos out there where Pau comes down from the drums. One has a guest drummer and another has them with a guest guitarist for an acoustic song. Other fans can fill in the details.
