- I came from a tiny community of weirdos, huddled together in dark, loud nightclubs, in a freak of a town. When I moved to the big city, and was suddenly buffeted in immense clouds of faceless people and traffic, it was really scary. Every face I saw, whether static, opposite me on the train, or smearing past in a millisecond from the window - I was acutely aware that they were all someone I would never know. Feeling alone, but aware of so many lives, all affecting each other in unknowable ways. That’s what this song is about.

The lyric line and choice of words are similar to the aspirations and fervent fantasies I aspired n myself when listening to "Dog And Butterfly" by "Heart" Falling asleep on my pillow with n old cassette player that I walked about recording everything. Why I did this today is a marvel to me. But at night when I swooned yo the music and I spin my globe and stop with my finger to mark the destinations of tonights dreams. I aspired. I thought then as a young man if I could record my dreams, I would be, "The Greatest Movie Maker" the world has ever known. Yet the "Powers that Be" Rob us of our glory to put themselves first in orders. But the Spirits never lie to each other, only the enemy...

@@novinkarki9962 there a two version. Version 1 cost 1500 € and the other 3.500€. They are the same guitars, but the differenence is that the cheaper guitar isn't so massive like the other one.

Thank you! That's an excellent description of how it feels to be a person from a small town coming to a big city. Even traffic jams can't remain just rows of vehicles for me--they are rows of humans. Humans with souls. Souls with innumerable private sorrows and joys. I try to imagine the life stories of people that pass me. And then somebody honks a horn and I notice the light has changed.
Beautiful as always. I remember very well the same feeling on the first night I moved to London from the wilds of Scotland many moons ago. I don't regret doing it but I'm glad I'm back in the countryside. Thank you, Jon.

Way back when I first heard your music, (back when you had your long hair!) I remember a short 30 second video clip of this song which confused me almost, I wasn't sure people could play guitar that way.. but then seeing more of your music live it all made sense.. I was very closed off musically but appreciating your music made me more willing to listen to music I'd never encountered before. So thanks Jon :)
