First Motocross Race on the KX85 2 Stroke!

- Holeshot! My niece moved up to a KX85! She is no longer on the KTM 65! She probably had about 2 hours of practice on this bike total before this race. She is 12 now and started riding a couple years ago on a CRF80F, then moved up to a KTM 65 which you can see me rebuild on this channel, and now a KX85.

Don’t stop accelerating when going round corners just gear down and steadily accelerate

On the track I can't keep up anymore. I might be able to beat her in tight woods racing but she recently raced a GNCC race and was pretty fast so I don't know anymore. She doesn't need to know these things though lol :)
use your body weight you could have cleared every jump if u just were good through the corners you have to put your body weight up and fully extend the front leg forward giving you much more speed

over coming the fear of flying will save you in fatigue by order of magnitude by doubling all those jumps great race awesome holeshot !

Good ride. In California they would of moved her up to the boys 12 thru 16 Novice class after that. They were saying that my daughter had to ride her old 80cc bike in the boys 12 thru 16 85cc Novice class until I let them know that she is only 10! Ha ha ha ha.
Omg that track is dope id be powershiftin everywhere u lucky u got a track like that here in ohio we gotta race where the all the big bikes have rode and they dont wet the track or nothing not to mention the 85 riders are fast asf
That track looks tricky as to ride. Not going to lie. Fair play. Nice power in that too.
the first kid she passed around 4:30 had his legs out you're supposed to keep your legs against the bike

Near Taylorsville, NC. It's about 1.5 hours north west of Charlotte.

rip_x_jahseh 17 I believe there is a track in Richmond. If not there is one in Charles City (sorry I don’t know the name) and there is one in Gloucester called Robert’s Dirt Track.

Don't let of the accelerater when your about to go over a jump you could have cleared them all and go lower in gears around corners because you could have gone a lot faster

I would call around to your local tracks to figure out the pricing but no they're usually not free.
The newer ones have 6 gears
