Hi Dawn, Thanks. The apple betty was linked in this video and also in the descriptions box above. It is totally worth making if you like that kind of thing. It is definitely one of our all time favourites. Key with this is to cook it on a low setting.
So so sooooo good to see you both again. Used to watch your videos back in the day when I was on slimming world and lost over 5 stone. But, like others, I have since put my weight back on and am trying to decide on how to get it back off again! You certainly are making me think seriously about S.W. Will go and catch up on your recent videos ... keep up the good work girls 😘
Good morning Ladies, did you know most unsweetened soya milk you can have 400ml for a HEA Also 60g of any wholemeal bread so the 400g loaf you have there if you weigh 3 slices maybe cut the crust off one end of one slices 😅 that's what I do xx
Good to know. Thanks. So are you saying 400ml = 1 x HEA? I know we are allowed 2 x HEA but we very rarely stick to it and follow the old way of having 1 x HEA unless to have cheese in a meal.
Thanks ladies i love a haul it gives you ideas there is always something you haven't tried like biscuit tea we can't get that in Ireland not even in the North looking forward to apple Betty never heard of it so good to have you back 👍
Morning sweeties, just ordered a kilner jar, fabulous price,I've just got to say again how wonderful it is to have you back.Hugs to you both and to Abbie too.❤xxx
Kath, If you are missing your frothy coffee, you could get black coffee tassimo pods and add your soya milk to a milk froth and make your own latte or you could use instant coffee. Glad to see you both back, I’m back at SW in the new year. Good luck on your journey ❤
Claire... You have just increased Cath's Christmas list lol!! What a great idea, thank you! Good luck with your journey in the new year. We're looking forward to hearing how it goes xx
Oh no the very thought of Christmas food shopping! Fortunately almost all of Abi's presents have been bought and wrapped already. As long as she's sorted, we don't worry too much about the rest! :)
Yes we will touch on budget again as time goes by. I had just been paid so that was a bit of an unusual spend but the rest of the month won't be that way x
Wow thats a fantastic shop & a brilliant total which i thought was going to be a lot more than that so nice one . The Albert potatoes are Micheal Roux's favourites which are used by him constantly . Thanks for this xx❤❤❤❤❤
You're right. We don't use the clay type for that very reason. Obviously the wooden pellets swell once used but are so much easier deal with. Of course, not sure how your cats are with a litter tray, but mine like to fling it about a bit. lol. I think the wood ones are also more environmentally friendly.
Hi girls, that was a great shop for the money. You had a lot of meat and vegetables in it. The meat is what costs a lot. Plus cleaning and shower creams also. Cath I’ve been using that st. Ives scrub on my face for many years. I just did it this morning and people always comment on my skin and I’m a lot older than you. That makes the face cream go into your skin better since you’re taking off the dead skin layer. Good choice. Love the vlogs
Thanks Carol. Meat certainly bumped it up but it'll stretch across quite a few meals. Cath has been using the st ives scrub on and off for years - since I met her!x
Hi ladies, lovely shopping haul, if I manage to get reduced raspberries & blueberries, I buy extra & freeze them, every penny counts right lol, same with left over veg, I make vegetable stock & put them in ice cube trays, I hate waste. Everything is so expensive now, there's only myself & my hubby so I tend to meal plan for the week, depending on what I cook I do double & freeze one. Thanks for sharing ladies I always enjoy a food haul xx
This all sounds like excellent money saving moves which we fully encourage and appreciate.. we are going to touch a bit on budget in our weigh in as it's important to minimise waste and cost where possible and can be done, as you've shown xx
I had a contigo ( Spanish for ‘with you’) bottle the same as yours which I LOVED. It was my favourite bottle and I used it all the time but unfortunately it got black mould in the straw bit and was impossible to clean so it had to go in the bin 😢 watch out for that! Also seeing you guys and Vicky simkiss back on plan is making me consider rejoining! I lost 5 stone back in the day and put it back on tried to rejoin a bajillion times and couldn’t get back on the horse. I have tried various other things and I have lost some weight in the past year but I do struggle with maintaining consistency. I have been trying to get my 5 a day eat intuitively and high protein and limit processed foods to a minimum but not always successful.
We will watch out for the bottle deterioration in that way. I vaguely remember that being an issue from before. Your story sounds like ours in the journey sense but our bodies tell us when to change our mind sets. We will all get there and it is lovely to do it with the RUclips community alongside xx
Good shopping haul girls, I use Aldi but have been to Sainsburys and to be honest they are matching Aldi prices. The best buy I get is 750grm Turkey mince £4.75 good value. I have done lots of Keema curry recipes but none with tarragon I might get some and use it. Are you doing video of the recipe please. xx
Thank you Lynn, we will keep an eye out for that turkey mince! Keema is such a good, filling recipe isn't it? We will be uploading the video on Friday (scheduled) xx
Excellent haul and brilliant value. I did a big Tesco online shop last week £221.00 and that is just for me and my son. I am 60 and have found my 'go to' surface cleaner, Milton 3in1 spray. Have you tried it? Have just looked up the SW Apple Betty, oh yum. Hope you all have a brilliant week. xxx
Thank you so much Faith. We do like to shop around to make things cheaper but decided just to try theone shop today. Tesco isn't the cheaper option for us as our main tesco is a little way away so we factor in the fuel usage to get there too. We haven't tried the Milton spray yet - I have just mentioned this one to Cath for her to add to her list lol. Enjoy the apple betty if you make it. :) xx
We are in the process of perfecting them ( which is terrible because it means we'll have to eat more lol ) Yes defintely. This is on our must do list! :)
I’ve tried to cut down on coffee from my machine.. I’ve swapped it for hot sugar free blackcurrant & apple squash. Don’t you have Asda smart card on your phone? You scan it at check out… I’ve only just started using it and get £’s on my next shop.. mine still a bit confused on the coupons 😂
I'm useless when it comes to loyality cards and phone things. Laura loves all that stuff. I'm sure she has something but I couldn't tell you what it is lol :)
Hi Chanel and welcome to our channel :) I (Laura) go to group and Cath does it from home due to her anxiety. We have got to target before by doing it this way so are hoping to be able to get there again :) x
Good to see you back. Watched you also back in the day. Great shopping haul.xx
Thank you for sticking with us 😊 xx
Hi lovely ladies, nice haul and always lovely to see you ❤

You're welcome Julie 😁
Another good video. Xx
Thank you Pauline xx
Morning sweeties, just ordered a kilner jar, fabulous price,I've just got to say again how wonderful it is to have you back.Hugs to you both and to Abbie too.❤xxx
The kilner jar is actually the perfect size for the overnight oats, as we have since discovered. Much love to you xx
Kath, If you are missing your frothy coffee, you could get black coffee tassimo pods and add your soya milk to a milk froth and make your own latte or you could use instant coffee.

Fab haul ladies 😊 looking forward to a Christmas haul ❤
Oh no the very thought of Christmas food shopping! Fortunately almost all of Abi's presents have been bought and wrapped already. As long as she's sorted, we don't worry too much about the rest! :)
Hi, good haul, love seeing what other people buy. I wonder if you're going to do more general budget content, which would be interesting
Yes we will touch on budget again as time goes by. I had just been paid so that was a bit of an unusual spend but the rest of the month won't be that way x

Thank you Carol - I reckon it would have been a lot more in Morrisons or Saisburys! x
@backtobasics8910 yes i agree xx
Lovely Haul. Lots of great Sl W meals to be made 😀
Thank you Jennifer x
Have you tried the caramelised biscuit tea omg its amazing now aldi ❤️
We did I think a while ago but didn't like it. Maybe I should try it again just to be sure :)
Great to see you and the oracle 😊 love to know more about the wooden pellet cat litter, I've only used clay types and they're very messy x
