I started using 1/2 of a pipe cleaner, didn't shape as well, so I fold a 12 inch pipe cleaner in half- twist the ends together and fold in center of the two. Then I twist the approximately 6" together length wise. I sew single fold bias tape to inside of mask, insert the pipe cleaner and stitch both ends closed. Works very well.
Great tips on the nose bridge supply! I ended up using the Olson masks for most of the mask I made so far. I did some modifications to it though. I lowered the the top edge slightly so it falls underneath my glasses and not behind them decreasing the fogginess issues. I also made it a little smaller. The original size was going over my ears and I didn't like it.
Thanks! Yeah, the Olson mask fit me pretty well and I was on the verge of sculpting it a bit when I found the Jesse mask.
Whish we could get those nose supplies here in th Netherlands. Maybe someone can help??
