    "I don't know who needs to hear this in 2024, but if you're out in public and you need to cough, cover your fucking mouth." Put that on some merch and I will buy at least one. 10/10

      We took our first family trip to Disney World last August. We all caught COVID for the first time there and could pretty much pinpoint it to the family that we were beside that were all just hacking without covering their mouths.

      I’m a theme park enthusiast and go to Disney world by myself sometimes. Couldn’t care less about the characters and movies and whatnot. It’s a fun experience to get away from reality for a while and I don’t have to drive! (I drive too much for work)

    Hearing you talking about your mom and your wife’s dad struck a cord with me and my family. Lost my grandma about 7 years ago. We used to go to Disney with her fairly often. My whole family went back for the first time last year and it was really special to go again. I’m so sorry for your loss but I love that it’s a special place for you and your wife❤

    I think it's really sweet that you planned this trip as a way of remembering your parents. I hope things weren't so overpriced and mid-tier quality that you were unable to enjoy your trip. I'd honestly love it if my loved ones went to an amusement park and had a crazy good time as a way of remembering me.

    @chefreactions I saw you! Was in the Morocco area walking the other direction. You weren't filming at the time and I thought too myself that it couldn't be you in person, you already did Disney. Now I wish I had said hi.

    I really appreciate this video; I found it by searching for "honest reaction to Disney food", and it was exactly what I was looking for. I've watched a lot of videos about the food at Disney World, but I always get the feeling that some of the people making the videos have the palates of 8-year-olds to begin with. So it's good to see a video from someone who can give a more informed and authentic reaction, particularly when it comes to assessing value for money - which is impossible to do unless you know whether the food you are eating is actually decent or not! Looking forward to exploring more of your videos.

    Been a huge fan of your videos, Chef.
    The story about your mom and Disney echoes a lot of my own. My mom was a huge Disneyland gal, and she was planning a trip there for all of us when she passed unexpectedly. That was almost 15 years ago now, and my siblings and I still make the occasional Disneyland or -world vacation in her memory. Just had the latest one last fall.

    I lost my wife to brain cancer two and a half years ago and, as she would say, Epcot was her church. Today would have been our 18th wedding anniversary. The net under the roller coaster isn’t to catch people, it’s there to catch crap that falls out of peoples pockets, like cell phones, sunglasses, etc. You’ll notice they’re located where the track passes over pedestrian areas below.
    Love the content!

  • @SpaceCowFour
    @SpaceCowFour 11 месяцев назад

    If it's any consolation, netting on amusement park rides like that may have a benefit of catching anyone who falls out, but largely it's there for loose items that might get dropped or fall out of pockets, like keys or change-that way it doesn't pelt/impale anyone below, and is possibly easier to retrieve after the ride ends

    Nets are for objects that might fall out and hit people down below. They have lockers, but that hasn't stopped people bringing on phones and other video equipment to film. Which means those people risk losing it and therefore it dropping. The Hulk has them at Universal for example and I've seen sunglasses and hats in them occasionally in the past.
