This story reminds me of an Indian girl I came across in US. She was studying Drawing and Illustration in California. Few months before our meeting, I had been to Microsoft store in New York where one of the staff I spoke to, said that he has come across many 3D artists who get projects on designing 3D images of the internal organs of human body. These images are used by medical schools to teach students. When I told this girl, who was looking for a job as an artists, to learn creating 3D images and focus on Human Anatomy and Physiology, she immediately rejected my suggestion and said, "This is not my area on interest." She was more keen on drawing and painting lakes, mountains, flowers, butterflies etc. Who is going to pay for all these useless drawings and paintings? There are many such people. My point is that any one who is pursuing his or her area of interest should be ready to make quick but minor changes to their career goals to become successful.
Basically, I am seeing English short films to improve my communication skills,But by seeing this short I really questioned my self what i am doing and how leading my life and I focused on where I can 😊 find my passion towards....😅
This is exactly my story. I have completed my computer engineering for tha sake of my father. But i hate computer. After that family forced me to marriage. After one kid i started teaching computer in a school. But i was not happy. I dropped when i got another kid. Now m at home raising my kids. I keep on asking myself that what will make me happy. Only one answer 'singing'. But i have not learnt it. She find her way. But m still stuck at the situation. Hoping somehow i could also find my way.
Glad I watched this cos rt now I am in her shoes ... gave up my 20yrs plus hard earned degree and quit my job in one day cos I couldn’t relate to it anymore but still struggling to find my new passion oriented career
When stomach is full and one has all comforts of life, such questions emerge in an empty mind regarding 'whats my passion' etc. Switching work to seek happiness is not a remedy as any work or job in due course of time becomes monotonous and issue of survival again puts on anxiety. Life has a pseudo time limit for doing everything including marriage/kids.In short its all about how one juggles with various resposibilities and seeking joy in whatever one does in life. Remember, Happiness to be searched within and not in the outside world.
You did really good work. I myself find in that condition where targets of a company make employee's life hell and neither we are able to focus on our happiness of life nor care about health. Just keep doing always work increasing mental stress. I am glad you have shown it with perfection and finally you got your sweet heart voice.👏👏
In this type of stories every character have an capability of singing and photography as they are facing issues and dissapoint in life after few days they realised that they have different passion in life.while throughout the journey thinking about her own life .His friends encouraged him you are made for different work.

I have never saw sharing her thoughts or conditions with her mother or siblings (if she had any) or at least with father. And suddenly started feel like her mother is like Villain in her career, She never talked to her mother , Which mother bear if her daughter is not getting married in near to 30s and not giving any answers to this.

Good movie,plot,acting and direction..touching a very relatable topic for most....things were different before the industrial revolution....humanities was most valued and philosophers became king...the socratic, platonic, kautilyan world back then was so different to the world emerging after the age of factories, industrial revolution, capitalism, commodification, means-supply chains-production.........it isn't good or bad, it's just a change that some people couldn't adapt to, worsened by financial needs, societal, parental norms and stereotypes of success......the reverse isn't true either.....all computer science/IT/programmers are not feeling the same way this character felt.....I enjoy the world of programming giving intelligence and life to inanimate things, expression of human thinking and logic in a language machines can understand and thereby transforming machines into being more human-like....helping bridging the space-time gap , reaching the remotest corners of world through a single web-click, a single message!........it's just how one's individual orientation is........and it's not binaries....I equally enjoy digging historical graves, what happened ages ago, here,there, at the continents and oceans, on earth and in space, at the quantum and galactic,cosmos level..how economies emerged and money started from barter to bit coins.....the world of fiction, literature, poetry and prose....in cultures, traditions, evolution throughout the world........some people don't a need single passion...they can enjoy Shakespeare, Tagore, Gandhi, Einstein, MS Subbalakshmi, Picaso,Iqbal, Socrates, Jefferson, Elliot,Maslow and many more at the same time....enjoy this very present moment, don't expect much, be less calculative, be more empathetic , build unconditional relationships, appreciate individual differences, live in the moment.......life is short, it gets past quick, find happiness in little everyday things~
