Bittersweet is a slice-of-life short film, portraying an event in the life of our protagonist- Nidhi. It is a touching, yet breezy tale of a beautiful relationship told from Nidhi’s point of view. Those bonds which tend to get tricky as they pave through their journey, yet we tend to treasure them closely for some indescribable reasons. Treated very organically, Bittersweet is an unapologetic tale of love, heartbreak, nostalgia & friendship.

BitterSweet captures Nidhi’s naive and innocent desires to re-experience the sweetness of moments in her past, which had profound impact over you, even if it is as simple as someone offering you a shoulder to cry on in your lowest of the lowest point in life. Even after years have past, context you live in have changed, those moments come back to your mind relentlessly like the waves of ocean. You cannot go back in time, but going forward to acknowledge and appreciate it, is human ! Kudos to Julie for narrating it in a subtle but profound way. BitterSweet is innocent, brave, intense and authentic !
