I've known about mike judge forever, never really paid attention to names, but everything he's had his hands in, has been a huge part of my life. I reference idiocracy all the time and seen it as a horror movie. The impact this one dude has had on society at least in America is huge and totally inspirational. What I'm getting from this interview? Is it doesn't matter what you're doing, as long as you're doing it right or trying to, you can make a difference that you may or may not notice just by doing the simple things. The beauty in is his work is he makes it look easy. It's crazy thinking about it. Like having the answer to everything and writing it down on a paper napkin. The act of writing it down is another way of saying I want to remember this, it may be forgotten, overshadowed, or discarded but the thought lives on in its own way until it manifests in a form that makes sense for someone else. It really opened my eyes to the reality that no one actually knows anything and we worry too much about making other people think we know things, when in reality no one knows anything and no one is better than anyone else. It really helped me do job interviews better, too.

Been on a B&BH/ King of the Hill binge lately. 👍 The movie and the new season have been amazing! It's rare when they bring something back, and it turns out better than the original. Sure, they nostalgia of the old ones will always be something special.. but you gotta hand it to Paramount for having faith in him.

I’ve been a life long fan of Bevis and Butthead. Mike also has a series on RUclips called Tales from the Tour Bus involving his animations and hearing tales from musicians who worked with artists like George Jones , Prince and many more. I bought both seasons and rewatch them almost every week because it’s too freaking good. Keep it up Mike and thanks for telling their stories on there.

Very interesting podcast episode and I must admit I learned some things about Mike Judge considering most people know the name more than the man. There is something very authentic with MJ in the sense that he's this very down to Earth soft-spoken engineer-type guy who grew up in Albuquerque - and yet he's a polyvalent genius who's able to do well in almost everything he does. He can do animation, voice acting, live acting, screenplay almost anything even the music sometimes. He's that relatable guy you want to drink beers with, this is how relatable he is.
I know Mike Judge from his "Tales of the tour bus" series, which I really like (especially the James Brown and Funkadelic episodes are hilarious)! I didn't even know Beavis and Butthead and King Of The Hill were his creations lol! 😅 Also Office Space I didn't know was made by him, love that movie! 😍

I've always thought you were cool since It's my Potty and I'll cry if I want to....but I haven't seen you for so long and this is a really nice breath of fresh air. Do you ever watch other shows and realize how difficult it is to to find a good conversationalist host who actually listens without interrupting and listens well, asks the right questions, yet still steers their show flawlessly? Especially difficult to find a host who knows how to press for the answers we all want to know but most interviewers are just too afraid to ask. Or press for - kindly -- firmly and nicely. You're just a really superb guy Howie. I think maybe you're the same in real life. I believe you're the same off camera as on, unlike - oh you know, The E.D. Show host for example. There are a plethora of stars who mistreat people when the cameras are off. I love how you just drew me in - by your happiness, kindness, and authenticity. Thank you for being so genuine.

Do you ever watch other shows and realize how difficult it is to to find a good conversationalist host who actually listens without interrupting and listens well, asks the right questions, yet still steers their show flawlessly? Especially difficult to find a host who knows how to press for the answers we all want to know but most interviewers are just too afraid to ask. Or press for - kindly -- firmly and nicely. You're just a really superb guy Howie. I think maybe you're the same in real life. I believe you're the same off camera as on, unlike - oh you know, The E.D. Show host for example. There are a plethora of stars who mistreat people when the cameras are off. I love how you just drew me in - by your happiness, kindness, and authenticity. Thank you for being so genuine.
