    one of the best dip tutorials, I like your attention to detail and thin, thin thin layers. WHen done right its one of the best ways to strengthen to get your nails to grow or just protect and a good base on natural nails. Great left as is or to use reg polish over and get a long lasting, chip free and longer lasting polish.One question, you used a peel off base before? I do the same thing except on my actual bare nail. With the peel of base how long does the over lay last you? THank you

      anavidfan62 Wow thank you so much! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video.
      So this particular peel base on my natural nails would last forever. I would end up ruining my natural nails when I tried to pop them off.
      Now I use 2 dips of clear over my natural nails first (file/shape/buff and make sure the surface is super smooth), then I apply 1 layer of this UNT peel base and dip over that and I can pop them off super easily!
      Look up “Carole Annette” here on RUclips! She has a video on the method I’m talking about.

    Hi! I love the idea of getting clear top coat and then adding whatever color nail polish. I am new to dip powder, your brush looks course comparing to the soft brushes they sell in kits. Would you recommend a harder and coarser brush?

    • @Mirandas_Nail_Creations
      @Mirandas_Nail_Creations  4 года назад +9

      Definitely a stiff brush! The stuff brush removes more powder than a fluffy brush and prevents contamination of your liquids and also helps to get your clear dip as clear as possible!

    I loved your video thank you. Iv tried doing my nails and always get in a mess then it’s where to keep the lamp stuff. Could you just tell me if you don’t mind what the individual bottles you used and the dipping powder and does the nail when complete take normal nail varnish on top, I can’t cope with keeping the same colour for too long. Sorry for all these questions. I’m blades in the UK so I may not be able to get the same product but I can only try. Thank you in advance for reading this, have a nice day n stay safe

      This brand does have distributors in England so you can get these products there too!
      Just go to revelnail.com and look for the starter kit. I would recommend starting with lighter colors or glitters/shimmers.
      The kit comes with everything you need including a top coat. 🤗

    If my natural nails are a little bit longer, will this method make them so they don't bend. I'm use to acrylic nails but am unable to get to the salon so my acrylic nails have grown out. My natural nails are weak and want to bend. Will this method help? Thanks.

    • @Mirandas_Nail_Creations

      Lexy Celio I would personally recommend sealing in your mani with either the dip top coat or a gel top coat. But afterwards take a super super fine buffer (I use the yellow ones from Sally’s Beauty) and lightly buff off the shine.

    I know this video was 2 years ago, but i’m using Azure transparent dip powder to dip my nails in, and it comes out cloudy at the end. How can I fix that or do it differently?? I tried putting some glitter in, but it doesn’t look good because the clear came out cloudy rather than clear. If i look real close, it almost looks like there’s a million tiny air bubbles and that’s why it’s cloudy? But i can’t really tell what i’m doing wrong.

    • @Mirandas_Nail_Creations
      @Mirandas_Nail_Creations  3 года назад +2

      Next time definitely use a stiff brush to remove any excess powder before going in with the next coat. Also really make sure the nail is dry before trying to remove any excess powder with a stiff brush. Also pouring on the first layer helps too! But unfortunately some brands clear powder aren’t as good as others. I don’t have any experience with Azure dip powders so I’m not sure if these steps would help. 🥺

    can clear acrylic powder replace the clear dip powder?

    • @Mirandas_Nail_Creations
      @Mirandas_Nail_Creations  11 месяцев назад

      Just depends on the brand of acrylic powder. Dip powder clear is more finely milled so there’s a lesser chance for bubbles. When you use regular clear acrylic it’s not as finely milled so you might get bubbles. 🥺

    • @Mirandas_Nail_Creations
      @Mirandas_Nail_Creations  7 месяцев назад

      Yes I use a stiff brush when I use other colors as well. And yes up until after you file/shape/buff. Instead of applying the next layer of activator and applying dip top coat you leave the nail surface roughed up and apply your gel polish making sure to cap your tips. 🤗

      Miranda Price is there a local store you can buy the base coat or just online ??? Also, I’m new to Revel nail and I keep getting a cloudy and cracking top coat. Have you had this happen before ? I’m following all the instructions it’s infuriating :(

    • @Mirandas_Nail_Creations
      @Mirandas_Nail_Creations  5 лет назад +1

      SQLVampire No I do not believe that the peel off base coat is available in stores. I got mine online I left a link in the description.
      And I personally have never had issues with any of my revel liquids. I know some women do though. For me after I’m done filing and buffing the nails I add the second coat of activator to both hands then I use a napkin to wipe the excess step 2 off. I then do 1 coat of the top coat ensuring I’m only going over the nails with 2 strokes. Once I’m done with all 5 fingers I go right back in with the second more precise coat of step 3 and then I move on to the other hand. I do 1 hand at a time. You could be adding too much step 3? Too thick of a coat. Or possibly not letting the activator dry enough?

    • @honeybeevampire1343
      @honeybeevampire1343 5 лет назад +1

      Miranda Price thanks for the feedback! I have tried it so many ways lol last night I did my left hand and all nails received the same treatment and time I had zero issues except in my pinkie finger then in my right hand it was my Index, ring, and thumb .. and believe me I was meticulous lol but I eventually buffer those off and used a regular clear coat for now! It was the first time I have done all 10 nails! Usually after my left hand I get so frustrated I take them off lol the first time I did them I had zero issues with the liquid I just wasn’t happy with my application because it was the
      First time and there is definitely a learning curve for someone who doesn’t have steady hands 🙋🏼‍♀️ lol but the second time was when all hell broke lose
      And the gel coat was a mess in all my nails and I buffed off and redid them following the instructions to a T and just could not get it! Grrr LoL I felt more comfortable last night . I think it time I will get it and it will be second nature ! I’m not giving up lol thanks for your response !
