This item is such a great tool for learning about different designs. I just hope the community has an appetite for more. If so, I'll keep the vids coming.
I was told by B2 Audio USA that you were planning to try out the Rampage 6.5" Woofers soon, I can not wait to see what you come up with on those thumpers..
I’m so glad you’re doing this. I bought a pair when they came out to do this very thing, and test different box designs! (Btw the 3D Sketchup part at 8:30 shows the displacement of your second port in in^2 rather than in^3 like the first one).
Such a cool build man! sounds awesome!! This might juuuuust fit on a 3d printer bed for those interested hahaha, makes for an easy build and have done loads of 3d printed mini subs...works great!
I thoroughly enjoy watching your channel. It's awesome seeing someone with the same enthusiasm i have for being a basshead. It's cool to see you doing scale. Ive been into rc since I was a kid and have always wanted to do a 1/5 scale lowrider. These would be perfect for it. Think i might have a new project starting to turn the ol' gears up there.
In your last video with these subs, did you ever figure out why some were moving more/less than the others? I'm curious if you found anything, like different ohm readings or leaking dust caps?
Could 3d print horns to glue to junk tablet speakers for micro rc horns.. If i had the extra funds I'd dust off the old 5th scale crawler in the closet and convert it to a mini Sema show rig.
Imagine a full wall of these.. like both door cards completely polka dotted with these or enough of em to take 1000 watts.. lol. Talk about mids and highs. Wonder how much wind 100 of em would make..
@BudgetBassHead- Will you please show the Db difference (@10 watts), between the different freq. from (75Hz to 150Hz- every 5hz), & also to show the difference between each enclosure design, please!? Maybe test the Db in a little clamshell type area, that can concentrate the sound towards your spl meter( like a horn shaped area about 2x the size of your 6th order, with the spl meter @ the exit/mouth, this would be Awesome! Great video!
I've not had very good SQ results with super skinny slot ports. Maybe square shaped would be the way to go? You'd definitely have more precision compared to getting the gap exactly right with those skinny slot ports.
I've been thinking about pairing these up with some speakers that get higher into the frequency range to make a portable Bluetooth speaker. Having never seen these subs in person how much can you feel the bass?
Sick build! I've never built a speaker so i ask out if ignorance: are you ever worried about resonance or standing waves with all the right angles in this style of speaker?
I love you videos with these little guys! I wanted to offer my services for free. If you need anything 3d printed or designed just let me know. Give me dimensions and I’ll whip something up for you
@@andrewmcmillan8110 yea I got one on my channel, I just make a basic spiral no sides. About 5 mm thick solid no fill. 50mm height. 5-7mm space. I'd like to make a true expanding spiral that gradually increases the opening as its diameter increases like a archemdes type, but its tough.
Am I the only one that caught that he started to screw the speaker terminal on the box with the nut on it and then skipped to the fast forward portion and the nut was gone lol
We are always impressed with your content, you always take things to the top!!!

Hell yea, You had another one in you.. Way to take it all the way!!!
These little ones are so much fun to work with. I just hope the community reacts positively. If so, I'll continue the series.
@@BudgetBassHeadPlease do more on this, maybe a Series 6th order instead of Parallel?

patiently waiting.
Rage 6.5s you mean right?

I bet that would be pretty awesome!
This thing is adorable and I want one.
Super cool build.
Inspired me to build a bluetooth Boom Box
That's what's up!
I wonder 🤔 if they make anything Bluetooth that would pull 2 of these well enough?
@randyledford6496 do you mean an BT amp board?
You are really talented. Im about 14 minutes in, and im really enjoying this!
Thanks, I hope you're enjoying the demo as well!
Imagine one day having micro bass competitions!
I think it's a great idea!

I bet it would sound incredible in a lowrider!
it would be cool if b2 came out with passive radiators for these!
That would be an awesome addition to the lineup!
Waw, that sounded great!
Good work and excellent music choices.
Thanks, appreciate it!
i'm sure it will be incredible on a bluetooth diy sound system, in 2 or 3way.
amazing sound quality and good bass for the size.
Agreed!

Not yet!
It wasn't the refresh rate was it
@@418lightning8 No, he could see it with his own eyes. He even mentioned it in the video.

Don't let your dreams be dreams!
Wie cool ! Nice Video again
Greetings from Germany
Thank you very much! They are very fun to work with.
That is so cool
I'm assuming you did an impedance sweep to verify the port tuning?

how does this compare to a a woofer that comes together with some standard soundbar?
and why not use silicone to seal the glass?
I really the indicator flags on poth ports of the 6th order. I always assumed they would be equal, but they're not!
I wanna put 10 of these in the car so bad. LMAO
Sounds amazing.
Bro, you know magic!!
😁 Glad you enjoyed it.
And here I would have been happy just putting PR in their box and calling it a day. At least you might be about to get the boxes smaller I guess lol
You put me onto 6th orders, next box will be one. Thanks
How loud is it? Compared to small JBL clip 3?

Amazing video and build.😊😊😊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Order push terminals from parts express there are others but they seem to be best for me

There are many different schools of thought!

they're close to the Amazon Echo Mini
@BudgetBassHead how would they compare to a JBL charge 4? It's the closest reference I have.
is there any way you could rearrange it so you could see the sub bumping after all thats what everyone loves to see!!!!
btw great video
I bought baltic birch off Amazon for my box. Not done yet but getting there. I got 2 of these little things 😂😂😂
Keep us posted on the progress
Cool man.
To bad they didn’t make some passive radiators I think the would hit harder idk 🤷
Radiators do extend the lower frequency shelf.
That's awesome
Can you do a 4th order banpast box it?
Already have. Coming soon
@BudgetBassHead can't wait to see it
Alright now build one with 2 inch passive radiators.
I think that would be an interesting experiment.
How Loud could 100 of these get? NOW THAT WOULD BE AN EPIC VIDEO... Complete comp IRL system on 100x 2" subs... lol
Sick build!
I've never built a speaker so i ask out if ignorance: are you ever worried about resonance or standing waves with all the right angles in this style of speaker?
Unless your enclosure in spherical, in some way, that is always an issue. Most would just add 45s to the corners and call it a day.
Hell yeahhh
Have you looked into Slapz audio for us budget heads😂
Been drooling over one of them for a while now. Almost pushed the button the other night! 😂
@BudgetBassHead I got the 15in oblivion D2 and I'm really enjoying it for the price. I bet the neo magnet are better

Can you make spirals? I don't have a computer anymore 😢
@@subdynoman like a spiral box?

Someone needs to put like 30 of these in a actual car lol
next time please upload the video with louder volume, i had to turn my phone volume all the way up just to hear what ya talking about 👀
hahahaha That is cool!
Glad you liked it.
😮
Let's hear them in a car.
