- Simon Barrett interviews Rev Chris Wickland from Living Word Church Farnham to discuss what the Church can learn from Dietrich Bonhoeffer the German theologian who deified the Nazis.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a German Christian academic and theologian who had the Godly discernment to foresee the danger and evil of Hitler and the Nazis. In the 1930s he risked his life in totalitarian Germany to warn the 18,000 Evangelical churches to make a stand against Hitler and the SS. Only 3000 Churches listened and 12,000 refused to get involved because it was thought too political.
The German Church failed to stand up to Nazism and protect the Jewish people and similar evil ideology of Islamic extremism and the hard left are joining forces to destroy the west today and are only united by their hatred of Israel and the Jews.
Our society is facing a similar evil threat that Bonhoeffer faced in Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Will the evangelic Church in Britain make the same historical mistake in not standing up for the Jewish people and will our society pay a high price for our silence in the face of evil?

I challenged Palestinian Protesters today and l felt the evil atmosphere as they spoke aggressively to me.. a group of Jewish tourists heard me and came to thank me for supporting them, we hugged and l told them l love and pray for Israel.. O may we stand for what is right.. 🙏✝️🙏

One of the things about history is we never learn from history. True word.
The Church needs to ask itself...what is evil and what is good NOT what is political. If the world has to define for you evil as political then your relevance is minimal.
The German Church must have been in a mess in the first half of the 20th century.
I wish every Christian could see this... but even if they did, who would listen? I feel sick with frustration. I've been on about this for years and people are not listening.
I think there needs to be some training on how the Church speaks out against evil and injustice as it seems to get carried away with 'libertarian' views rather than speaking out against evil.

If we read the book. We will see and read the plan of God. God wins and His wife Israel is restored. May our prayers line up with God's Word and therefore His will. Yah is Sovereign!
We are grafted into Israel by faith in Yeshua. We are not gentiles now.
Replacement theology is so anti biblical.
The old testament is the prophetic story of the church being GRAFTED onto the people of God. Not replacing. Grafted!

If Britain First changes its stand on Israel and ww2 i bet many christians would support or join them. I recall Nick Griffins time, they included holocaust deniers and all sorts of stuff, they are shilling for satan by trying to blame the jews just like the muslims and lefties.
