I pour my heart into this home, treating every corner as if it were my own. Though I pay rent, my love and care resonate in these walls. The owner beams with joy, knowing the warmth I've brought into this place, and it fills me with pride.

UK allows 3 unnecessary months for the landowner to store former tenants property! That’s diabolical!🤯

It is very difficult to see how the tenant has rights owing such a figure of money. It all comes back to politicians walking around backwards. A little boy asked why the circus didn't come to town anymore. His father explained that you can't have a circus without clowns and they have all been elected to parliament.

Derek has a nice smile., I can tell how relieved he was once he got her out and got his room back.. the stress rolled off his face and then he smiled😄 Simons home is actually nice, its too bad that tenant damaged it, the back garden was nice and the tenants just destroyed and dirtied the place, they obviously didnt know how blessed they truly were!!!

Most people simply cannot ever be trusted to act responsibly, which is the very reason why we need ever more draconian laws to deal with situations like this, with far more severe penalties when these laws are broken - it shows us how the moral fabric of our society has totally broken down

The landlord should charge at least 3 months or more deposits in case the tenants default in rent payments

    • @Lincolntowncoupe

I think landlords should be able to shut off utilities when rent isn't being paid, if the utilities are part of the rent and the tenant isn't paying them separately. If I, with a mortgage, stop paying my power, water, and gas bills, those things get cut off. They don't leave them running so as to "not interfere with my quality of life." If the power company can turn off my power for non payment, why can't a landlord turn off a rental property's power for non payment?

28:18 the local councils and police must be given far greater legal powers to intervene in these circumstances, without needing court hearings all the time - the more severe and draconian their powers are against rogue landlords and tenants alike, the better

After the courts tell them that they have to leave in 3 weeks and they don't, when is time for the legal owner to take over the property they should have the legal rights to put their belongings out, because they had enough time to be out.
The judicial system is creating more problems for the legal owners what!!! do they also want the owner on this street after losing all that money.

For his own protection, the landlord must demand a deposit equal to 3 months' rent, which the tenant will receive back when they move out properly. The eviction process should not be dragged out to the detriment of the landlord. anti-social to believe you could live somewhere and just not pay rent

12:21 Look at the lounge. You squeeze five rentals into a property clearly intended (or equiped) for fewer people, this is what happens. Sorry, Landlord Derek, but when you participate in an exploitative market place, the blade cuts both ways.
