After restarting it dose not auto login and when I go back to Regedit DefaultPassword disappears. I reattempted the procedure numerous times with the same results. Any ideas how to fix this.

If you are a part of a domain and are using a local pc admin account you might need to specify the local account using .\Username in the DefaultUserName string. The .\ specifies local account. Mine wouldn't work without it. Cheers.
