In the 1950's Oldham built a great side, and the final piece in the jigsaw as it were, was the acquisition of Derek (Rocky) Turner. Unfortunately, through the shortsightedness of the Oldham committee, they let the great man go after a couple of seasons. The rest as they say is history. Oldham' general decline was matched by Wakefield's great success in the 1960's.

Hi sarcophagus, Yes would be a great idea to name the road after Niel, I was sorry to hear that Derek Turner passed away last year though......he, like Niel was a super player in his day.
