What is this based on? I know Phillippa Gregory is a novelist, and puts her own spin on what actually happened in Tudor England, but she had a very different take on Anne in her book "The Boleyn Inheriitence" (an excellent read). In it, Anne is actually quite relieved to be out of the marriage with Henry by the time the divorce is finalized, and she never wanted to go back to him. She said it was better to be safe, living in her own home with a good income,, than to be one of Henry's frightened queens.
What would be interesting to discover is how these women really felt being used as property to produce a male heir, or to warm a king's bed; and yet being wise enough to keep their head.

I wasn't aware that she had lost so much after Henry's death. I wonder why women were not frugal in a time when their fortunes were so precarious. She died very young.

As awfull as how it happen, Ann. Got to live as she wanted. I think she was finally happy. But it was a tuff go at first. She is my favorite ❤
