Great video . However, when reading the MSDS for Methylene Chloride Solvent, the Health Rating is a 3 (severe; cancer causing) and the contact rating is a 2 (moderate). If you come in direct contact with it, it can be dangerous. Recommend to wear eye and face protection and gloves.
hi. great video. quick question. i want to buy a jacket that has letters that i dont want and want to remove them..but this is not a just printed , so how can i remove them?
I was given a aeropostal sweater the color 9s great and absolutely love it however the glittery aeropostal letters and date is not my favorite! Would that method work for my sweater???
What if I told you I've used hardware store lacquer thinner and solvent proof gloves to do this same thing for years. No stains or bleaching, 100% cotton or 50/50. Football jerseys. All colors. Common sense will tell you not to soak any fabric that has a higher percentage of a plastic/rubber synthetic blend, but if you can put it on a heat press, you can put the thinner to it, and the thinner will have evaporated in seconds literally. Try a test shirt to see for yourself.
hi..i have a lot of shirts with silk screen prints and i want a to put a new designs on it can i use that solvent to remove the textile paint on a light colored shirts?please help...thanks a lot..
Hi, I have a tshirt with what seems to be a digital print on it - the printed logo feels like plastic. I guess it might be vinyl. I would really like to remove the print. The tshirt is 100% cotton. I was wondering if the solvent you used in the video might work on a cotton tshirt and does that solvent usually leaves spots and/or smells on clothes? What is the best way to wash the clothe after? Thank you in advance for the info 😊
This product currently only removes Thermo-FILM® and Thermo-GRIP® lettering from most fabrics when used within 48 hours of application - www.stahls.com/lettering-remover-solvent - however, there is no guarantee that it will come off without damaging the garment.

I really like the tip but I need to do this to a thick jacket which I can't apply the liquid to the back. So you think it will work fein the front or it's going to make a mess?
I got a design on the front of a satin baseball jacket, unfortunately when pressing it on, I didn’t realize that the design was was a little over because I didn’t want to burn the snap button. Now when worn, part of the design is under the arm. If this could work, I could save it and still sell it.
Hi, need help here. I have bought a jersey. But I want to remove the sponsor logo without any damage to the sponsor logo. Can you guys help me. Sorry for the broken English.
Is she insane? This stuff can cause cancer! I know how to use this stuff, I'm only researching to see what protection methods people were using. She should wear better protection when using that stuff, a face mask and gloves.
For the love of God! Have CadCut's attorneys seen this video? Not only is methylene chloride dangerous when inhaled, it crosses the placental barrier, so the idea of a woman demonstrating it is crazy! Please at least add a warning in the "about" section. Also, your shirt looked cooler with the lower case "t".
Good instructional video but failed on the safety part of the process. I suggest adding safety instructions or even a disclaimer to your video to let people know how harmful this product can be and to also avoid a potential lawsuit.

Can this be done to vinyl/t shirt that’s been washed ? Thanks
Unfortunately, the solvent must be used within 48 hours of application.
If I'm careful, can I do this and reuse the vinyl? My jerseys were made with the team name super lie and it needs to be moved but I can't pay for it.

Is she insane? This stuff can cause cancer! I know how to use this stuff, I'm only researching to see what protection methods people were using. She should wear better protection when using that stuff, a face mask and gloves.
+Jake Dyson She should also not be indoors or have professional ventilation. That's deadly stuff.
The sarcasm is strong within you. She's still breathing toxic fumes, but hey what do i know... i just read the instructions.
great tip, but I have a question. How would I remove a graphic from a bag that has a second layer behind it?
+CADCUTDirect Will do, thank you.
+Gilbert Jimenez how did it came out?
Methylene Chloride Solvent
You shouldnt handle this stuff with your bare hands. Use gloves!
Mr. Tommy Badger lol

Isn't there a chemical-free way of removing mistakes off the shirts?

No gloves with vinyl chloride is insane
Good instructional video but failed on the safety part of the process. I suggest adding safety instructions or even a disclaimer to your video to let people know how harmful this product can be and to also avoid a potential lawsuit.
Andy H Good grief! She's using that stuff with her BARE HANDS in the first part of the video! Put some gloves on, at least! Been there, done that!
Now try rubber paint
I would definitely wear gloves to use methylene chloride....also a chemical fume hood or some sort of ventilation. Yikes.
Great now i gotta wear methyl chloride, everytime i put that shirt on.
H
Who gave them the guns.
