    Gain greater clearance and killer looks with Rough Country's new 5" and 7.5" Suspension Lift Kits for '07 & Up Chevy Tahoe / Suburban models.
    This all-inclusive kit ships with everything you need to get going and hit the mudholes. Featuring a set of beefy lifted knuckles and 1/4" thick steel front and rear high-clearance crossmembers, this kit offers plenty of muscle to handle hazards both on and off-road.
    A set of Lifted Coil Springs and Upper Strut Spacers provide plenty of ride height - enough to run up to a 33" tire on our 5" option, or a 35" tire on our 7.5" option. Both kits feature sway-bar links, shock extensions, brakeline brackets, a rough and tumble lower skid plate, and Grade 8 Hardware.
    Included sway-bar drop brackets and differential drop brackets help keep vehicle components properly aligned after lifting, providing a factory-like ride while boasting an aggressive stance.
    Though some minor cutting and drilling is required, this kit is relatively easy to install, with no need for strut disassembly or modifications to stock differential, drivetrain, and exhaust.

    After installing a 7.5 inch lift kit from y’all on my 07 1500 suburban . My transfer case is giving me a metal scraping sound when the front drive shaft is attached . Replaced drive shaft and front diff thinking that was the issue but narrowed it down to the transfer case . Which was fine before the lift and had plenty of oil in the transfer case . Wondering if I needed a spacer or something for the front drive shaft

      @boost1728 4 года назад

      @@alexklein455 the shock extends longer than the length of the spring; under a lot of articulation, the rear springs just.... fall out. Like to replace the coil you don’t have to disconnect the shock or anything. You just jack the frame off the ground and the rear will say enough to pull the springs out... not a good thing when you’re rock crawling. I don’t want to use limit straps because I don’t want to limit it’s ability to travel.. that defeats the purpose of building the truck. But I do need to keep the coils in place, and this should’ve been part of the initial design. I even bought 2” spacers to help close the gap but it still isn’t enough. I’ve been getting into more high speed stuff and I just can’t do anything with the truck because every time I get any air the springs literally just fall out.

      Not sure if you still need info, but when based on this, it looks like it's not affected. You re-use the same shocks and they are bolted to the relocation bracket at the bottom. So there's no change to the top part of the shock or the travel length. Theoretically, you can use the air ride shocks with this kit. But I am just random internet dude with a driveway and a wrench, so take that as it is.

What's up with the Escalade getting lift kits though? Denali the same right?

    • @derekchipman1653
      @derekchipman1653 5 лет назад +1

      This will work same as it did on my Escalade you just have to buy rough country’s dual cardone front drive shaft. They have it labeled under the Denali truck. As for auto ride you just have to extend the front sensors and extend the wires on the shock plug so that it will run through the strut spacer to still plug in. As for the rear sensor you just have to move it up the tract bar till it’s back at its original height. Hope this helps.
