YOU, POV and Desert Drifter have been my YT channels of choice. You guys get me 'out of the house ' even if just in the heart. Being mobility impaired mid aged sucks. Thank you, young man ❤
As a Landscape Artist, I LOVE these hikes you go on, especially since losing a leg back in 2020 and not able to walk yet; you bring me with you via these videos! Thank you and God bless you and your family. --Matthew
Don't give up, there is much they can do with prosthetics and physical therapy they can do to help you, there is a man who lost his leg from the knee down that did a History channel show " Lost Cities With Albert Lin", so there is hope, just a simple walk would be wonderful and I pray that you get to walk again someday, even if you can't climb.
thank you again for another wonderful Trek, and being my eyes and ears! what a wonderful blessing that you have found someone to love, cherish, and spend your adventures with. May god Bless your marriage and allow you to make so many sweet memories.
Love the rock formations! Thank you so much. My husband and I are disabled and he's had a long stay in hospital this year - and watching your channel has been a wonderful part of his recovery - although we are well past climbing rocks and mountains ourselves it's lovely to get out and about with you!
Nice surprise at the end. I love getting to see new areas that I would never get to see on my own. Thanks for the videos! And congratulations on getting married!
I loved this trek! Spectacular rock formationsin a couple of hidden pockets of desert. Thanks for this adventure, and I'll definitely check out your new channel
Absolutely mind blowing terrain Jeff. You had me a little on edge in some of those spots. Fantastic journey once again... best wishes from Newcastle, Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Love this trek! I really like it when you explain about the plants & trees, & little critters, rocks & fossil s. Knowledge is a gift thanks for sharing. Best wishes.
He’s the reason I leaned about cryptobiotic soil! Which is crazy because I grew up and lived in desert for half of my life and had no clue what it was. 😭💔
At the Valley of Fire in Nevada there are basins where water sometimes accumulate, there they are referred to as ‘tanks’. Thanks for sharing your wedding with us. Your contribution to humanity is a blessing for us all.
Excellent video - amazing landscapes, desert plants, rocks that looked like the stringy stuff inside a pumpkin! From the Google earth image, I thought the springs were going to be a few feet deep - they were fairly deep canyon features. A great adventure
Ya'll are so sweet! Congratulations and happy hiking forever! what a cool trip this was, sure didnt look like the water was that far down on GE. I can barely get groceries anymore so love going with you. Be careful out there!
Marriage is supper special these days... 26 years in and I love my wife and four children sooo much... They have saved my life sooo many times... Congratulations ... Love the vids... From the Sonoran Desert... Thousands of miles logged... Have seen many anomalies and human creations undocumented...
Thank you for your comment! I can truly see how love deepens in a marriage. It's the best thing in my life! I would love to hear more about your story!
Big congrats 👏 on nuptials. Couldn't get live but tuned in later where I don't enjoy desert as much love the rocks/cliffs/etc. Fairy condos was fun and unique. 😊
Congrats--on the lovely wedding & great family!! And for the 2nd channel! I'll check out Ridges&Ruins--but don't miss out on Desert Drifter, either! Appreciate & enjoy all of your outings!
The water, wind and pebbles carve those cool tiny cave shapes. There are some very like them on a pebble beach near my home. Nature-the best Artist ever❣️
Glad you enjoy your trecks I know I do because being disabled I can no longer do such things so videos like yours allow me to see such things through you I cannot do for myself any more. Thanks for taking us along.
Hey Jeff it’s great to be back with you. Somehow I get distracted and get off on something else which is fine but when I realize that somehow I got so distracted that I get lost in all of this jungle of stuff.
Not by water, but rather by the wind, carrying fine grit and dust. They’re called ventifacts, and those are by far and away the most incredible I’ve ever seen.
Great find, many thanks for doing that hike for me young man. Love the wedding pics, Mrs Trek Planner is beautiful, many blessings to you both. I occupy a little space in Scotland uk, running water from a tap, nothing as exciting as collecting water from a natural pool. There was a day when I filled huge bins with rain water in Africa, loved those times.
Simple Beauty! Love the peace here... PLEASE don't forget to keep reminding people to leave all artifacts where they are; these last couple of years I've areas stripped of potshards and flakes. Sad. You have a great channel!
My favorite kind of hiking; just bushwacking to places that probably haven't had a human visitor for decades or centuries. Love the cool "lizard apartment" formations!
CONGRATULATIONS ! I HAD TOO GO AROUND THE WORLD TOO FIND MY WIFE ! I TOOK HER AROUND THE WORLD WITH ME ON MY SECOND TRIP ! 48 YEARS LATER I LAID HER TOO REST ! NOW I ENJOY WATCHING YOU AND YOUR ADVENTURES ! MAY YOU TWO HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS WE DID ! 🎉
That was such a cool hike! The geographical layers are so amazing, but the honeycombing in the rocks! And then…❤! Love your adventures wherever you go! You’re so much fun to watch and you’re such a genuine person and I love that about you! Congratulations on your marriage! 🎉❤ So very happy for you guys!
It would be fun to explore area petroglyphs and see if any of them point to those tanques on that hilltop. That would give you a little insight on how to read some of them, if there are common symbols pointing the same direction. Oftentimes, the petroglyphs were used to communicate where water was for travelers.
I LOVE this one! The power of wind, water, and time. Tremendously beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing, and congratulations to you both on your adventure together!
Nice shout out to Ruins and Ridges! I hope others will subscribe to him and get his viewership up! Thank you for the Amazing hike! 😍. I love vicariously hiking through all my favorite RUclips hikers! ❤
Thank you for the great video Jeff! Those canyons are breathtaking. Congratulations on your wedding! Wishing you both many beautiful years of love, hiking and happiness!
Congrats on marrying a wonderful woman. Nice Mountain DUDE hat to go with this one. Seeing the huge catch basins made me think that it would be simple for people to put up hand made tarps for shade to slow evaporation. The natural shelving was amazing. Not commonly seen in geology. Thanks so much for your outings. I enjoy your investigations and treks I'd like to do, but I'm unable to do.
Hi Bud! Thank you very much for supporting me and my channel! The geological features of this video were one of my favorite parts. Thank you for making my day! -Jeff
Really enjoy your videos Jeff! Sitting at my desk but trekking along with you remembering when I did the same during times long ago. Wishing you all the happiness and discovery this wonderful world has to give! Congratulations!
Now you are a complete family and love stays forever in your hearts as you share your thoughts and feelings everyday ❣️☺️ you manage to find so much beauty for people like me who are physically challenged. I live in Alberta, Canada that has lots of natural scenic Mountains, Dinosaur Provincial Parks etc. but where you are is a different kind of so many scenic views that I wish my body could go to. Thank you for sharing your life as well as your wife’s as you travel along but can you tell us her name as I must have missed you telling us about her.
That is one COOL place. Thank you very much and congratulations to you and your wife. I pray you two will be happy forever.
Thank you, Karen! It's been such a great adventure for both of us!
That is so kind of you to give a shout out to "Ruins and Ridges". Kudos. And congratulations on your marriage. That's great news.

@@TheTrekPlannerthis is beautiful 🥹🖤😭. You can tell your wife is very loved!🖤 congratulations to you and your whole family🖤🖤
Thank you for taking me along with you as you explore. WE see areas I never imagined in my own country yet. Amazing places.
I hope you told the authorities about the girls. There's been so many missing girls and trafficking them that it 😮 worries me.
I had the same feeling, or maybe a group of runaways, but someone is probably looking for them!
I am sorry I didn't mention it in the video, but I looked it up later and there was some sort of wilderness therapy thing going on for youth out there
@@TheTrekPlanner thanks so much for clarifying!

That was special, thanks! And, I know you have GPS and other electronic devices but your dead reconning skills are great as well!
You just taught me something: “dead reckoning” is “dead RECONNING”! As in reconnoiter. Thanks -
@ fingers and brain weren’t coordinated…sorry!
@@wadetyler5056 No no, I think the word origin is in fact “reconnoitering”! Dang gotta run off to the OED…
