    In todays video, I’m performing a lot of work on this beautiful 2017 #nissan 370Z #nismo .
    -Wash and Decontamination
    -Engine Bay Detail
    -Paint Correction (2-Stage)
    -Rock Chip Repair
This Detail took way longer than expected but I think it was well worth it!

Definitely love the Z. It’s the last of the real Mohicans when it comes to the VQ engine with a 6MT. Glad to see such a nice example. Props to the owner and keep up the good content KW!

About to do decontamination, paint correction, and fill some chips on my 2018 Nismo in the same color. Great work, both on the car and the video! Looking forward to doing this process on my Z even more now because of what you shared here. Thank you.

I’m glad I could inspire you or give you some reassurance. All I have to say is, don’t rush. Take your time and the results will reflect that!

I have been regularly using Klasse All-in-one and Wolfgang sealant 3.0 since I purchased my Z in 2016. I haven't had issues with swirls, paint looks pristine albeit some minor chips on the front bumper which I repair with Dr.colorchip and polish/seal a week or 2 after it cures. Great work on that Nismo though its a night and day difference with that paint correction, the owner should be thankful for the quality of work I know I would be.

The absolute BEST Nismo Z color they ever had, although I wish they would have had the Monterey Blue color in Nismo form. That was the all time best Z color they ever had, especially with those persimmon colored leather seats and door cards they offered the first couple years. You really did a nice job on correcting the paint. I actually have this color Z myself and it's difficult to get this paint right due to being so darned soft. You look at this paint wrong and it scratches. It gets micro marring VERY easily. You really have to be on your A game to keep this paint looking good and using good washing techniques are an absolute must.

I'm about to polish mine in the spring. Same paint colour. 2016 not 2017 tho. My plan is to cut with the rupes yellow medium foam + 3D one. And then refine with a Lake country HDO orange pad and Carpro Reflect. To follow up with Gyeon Q2M Pure evo. Really interesting to see your results with the rupes green and yellow on the same paint as my car. Thanks!

Mac, you should slow down some of the video at times. It was hard to see exactly how you were putting that final paint protection on it.

What was the 2nd thing you sprayed that got deep dirt off? Decontaminate?

It’s called “Iron Fallout Remover”. There’s multiple companies who manufacture it. Take your pick. It removes/dissolves iron contaminants from the surface. It saves you time, saves the clay-bar from getting “clogged” too fast. Is it necessary? No. But is it worth it? Yes. Saves you some time as well

All it needed was yellow pad yellow polish. There was no 2 step needed
