It’s really sad all the pictures of him with bruises and swelling while her lawyers try to paint her as the victim. What’s she going to say? She only hit him to defend herself? I knew a woman who hit herself with a shoe on the forehead until she bled. She then called the cops and said that her husband did that to her. Her son who is now 46 admitted that his 8 yo self saw her hit herself, and he was utterly shocked and confused at the time. Whenever she got angry, she would rant and rave like she was possessed. The husband would stay silent and not engage. That enraged her even more. She slammed a radio into his leg and broke it. He was in a cast for months.

The thing is, Johnny has been dealing with drugs literally all his life (over 40 years), someone who has done that and it has never caused him significant problems or overdosed or anything of that sort, you have to draw the conclusion that he's an expert on what to take and how much, it's not likely at all that he suddenly gets outbursts because of these drugs rather he takes them to calm him down. If he for example rose to fame then started doing drugs and being agressive then it's very likely it would cause problems but for his case it's just a constant, he doesn't know any different it's a part of his life, that's why i don't think the drugs ever caused him to be violent.
The more I look at his history the more I feel his drug use was self medication. He probably has an addictive personality too though.

It's really quite laughable that drug use seems to be all they have on him. Just because someone uses drugs, that doesn't automatically make them a violent or abusive person. If anything, it seems like Johnny has done drugs to relieve emotional pain and he avoids putting the people around him in danger.

That is Depp's lawyers. He asked the question so they could have yet another witness say he did not get violent or abusive when taking drugs. Her lawyers keep trying to claim his drug use made him abusive so they are squashing it by asking how he reacts to drugs.
They’re trying to “prove” that he gets high and drunk often thus making him seem like an unreliable person. Since drug users have bad connotations, they’re trying to paint him as a drug user who abuses woman. But everyone is painting him to be a wonderful person.
They think, the drug use caused him to be violent, what they want to prove, but its...'objection' 'hearsay'...you cannot prove that, but we can hear her admitting she got violent...

What honestly angers me the most is seeing how Amber is just sitting there with almost no emotion. She has literally destroyed this man's life for nothing. @@lmm1586 it's classic female dating strategy in usa. They're always advised to milk profits out of a relationship and always be on the lookout to "move up". The practice is not exclusive to females there (JD himself did this to a smaller extent when he started dating amber) but only socially acceptable for females.

I think you missed the point of the accountant testimony. They had a $14 million marital debt. Meaning in the 15 months they were married they racked up bills of $14 million that needed to be paid. California is a 50/50 state. So Heard would owe half of that. So Heard was asking that her half be paid by Depp. Almost as if none of the debt was hers. Wanting the money tax free would mean Depp would have to earn $30 million according to the accountant. Depp would have to pay taxes on the $30 million which would probably end up being around $14 million. Heard really has some nerve and a real piece of something, but she really didn't think this out. She was lucky she got the $7 million in the first place, because there were no martial assets to be split up.
There is a petition online to remove her from any future aqua man movies.
