@@fallout1953 Plus they’re easier to optimize and for multiplayer you don’t have to worry about stuff like low shadows and grass giving people an unfair advantage. Could also allow content to be made faster since less time needs to be put into modeling high detail assets
I think you'd like the stuff hitman47101 has made for fallout new vegas then, that guy has single handedly redone most of the animations for the guns in that game

Tactical is such a buzzword nowadays. Nothing special about properly handling firearms. It's not like the military gets secret sauce training or some shit. Hell, I have friends who hunt and can outshoot military cadets and enlisted soldiers.
The ONLY recommendation I could make, is to switch the shotgun reloads with their sleight of hand versions. I think it might look a little bit better than simply speeding the previous version up. Animations look decent but kind of overkill especially considering the 4 survivors weren’t exactly war veterans (Except Bill ofc lol) But still pretty cool how seamless the animations transfer to l4d models.

It looks pretty on surface, but when you try moving around in the dark with a flashlight on, the beam shakes so much it gets irritating as F to the point of making one’s eyes hurt. And this game has so many dark places there is hardly any point in turning your flashlight OFF unless there is a Witch nearby.

Its so incredibly cursed seeing the majority of survivours, most were subpar with their weapon knowledge, a few didnt shoot a gun at all, and really only 1 professional, who is now dead, are reloading like 21st Century special forces units
I personally don't like this because it doesn't make much sense for a bunch of random citizens to reload guns like this. The only one trained is Bill, but he's old. Not saying Valve's animations are top-notch though.
It’s because those were exclusive weapons in the German version of Left 4 Dead. They remained in the files and were added to the weapon roster officially in the Last Stand community update.
This mod is cool and all, but I don't think it beats the sense of amateur-ness hurrying that the original reload animation gives you. Remember, none of these characters probably had ever used a gun before, maybe not as extensively, but the slow reload gives you the sense that these guys, they're not equipped for this shit. They're just some buncha normal folks, and they just happen to stumble on some guns. They're careful when they're reloading, and they take their time to do it. Because they never really had to rely on guns that much going out for a walk.
as nice as these all look like, they don't fit for left 4 dead 2 thematically. those are still normal citizens, I'm not sure they'd be able to pull stuff like this out on a whim
The only things i don't like are the auto-shotgun/combat shotgun reloading animations. they don't really make sense nor feel realistic to me, especially when the right hand just spawns shells out of nowhere.

The reloading and pumping sounds for Chrome Shotgun, SPAS 12 and Combat Shotgun does not work. They work only for Pump Shotgun but not for those other three. Any solutions to this?

it was so time saving, the player would just get another M60, so efficient for the player!

I like it but some of these didn't match the exact time reload, so you need to reload it again when u swapped, while thinking it's already reloaded.
