I’d really like to see a Chisel 4WS run, I think it might be able to get that impossible line through the gates towards the end. It looked like it was real dang close on the front steer only. These rear views get me salivating for Chiseled Cougars! Lol
I kid you not; just had those in hand this afternoon. Knocked them down when looking through old stuff. Got them a few years ago as an extra when I bought an AX-10 chassis (for restoration).
I'm not sure if they count as hyrolgyphic but I quarantee the Tamiya Cliff Crawler won't dissappoint in dissapointing. I wonder if the old compounds had too many good things in like Toluene, Benzene, etc.
They look they are doing as good as the panther cougars. I found some on Chisels on ebay. Ill see when they get here. I would Love to run my trucks at your place someday.
I baught a set chisels when I got my Vaterra k5 running desert lizards with full droop then later on my wraith were they now reside still . Hate to see them go I’ll take extra care now
Does proline make any effort to show us what they put into making a tire? Honest question, it's just thay they charge so much more that there ought to be some explanation.
Their is a NIB 2 pack on ebay currently. Used set as well. I only share this info because I want to buy them but I wish someone would snag them so I don't spend my money.
Not saying TV shows back then were better than the ones today, but when ABC decided to abruptly cancel "Once and Again" leaving the producers just a few episodes away from giving their third season proper closure, I just made the decision to stop watching TV shows. So it didn't get better, from what I could see.
Clean Slate and Cabin Boy both succeed in falling firmly into that "so bad it's good again" category. I've watched Cabin Boy more than once, I must admit. Those early 90s were a breeding ground for bad-ish movies that either gained cult status when the DVD got real big, or even later when streaming emerged. Encino Man, Bio Dome (almost anything with Pauly Shore, really) all of those movies were more bad than good, but swung around again either through quotability or just something that "managed to stick." When I say bad movie, I mean bad, as in having no redeeming quality. I like to point to Robert Eggers' 2015 film The Witch, which critics (and apparently most people) seemed to love, but I absolutely hated. When it went to credits, I was physically angry (later, I would watch his movie The Northman, which has an ending so disappointing it all but erases the entire movie from your memory.) But Apt. 1303 is so unbelievably bad that it makes one question the oft-stated "nobody sets out to make a bad movie." Everything about it is horrid. Nothing comes around to be good again. It's so terrible that words cannot express it. It is the Boom Racing Hustler of movies, but worse! We can at least get a laugh out of Hustlers.
kinda sux that just because a minority of people can't use it in competitions the vast majority of folks who have no interest in competitions can't have them either. Pretty bizarre that they stop making them instead of marketing them as a tyre that is Too Good for competition use! C'mon, get the marketing guys to sort it out and keep making the good stuff for Non-Competition use.
These are taller than Panther Cougars, and as wide (accordingly to the data on the spreadsheet). Maybe you should re-measure the Cougars? You kept saying they were really different Why do I think companies take away this kind of tires? Because they are banned from comps, and they think no one is going to buy them if you cant use them for comps. Guess what: thats not the case, at all I already moved the LP Rupture. Pseudo-science man, its the science we need so we dont go crazy, but would it be amazing to have an even more precise method to score tires... There's nothing I can say about this tire, its a closer to LP size Panther Cougar
I was pretty HYPED to see this one as I'm lucky enough to own two sets of these bad boys !!

Man gotta be hard to drive a rug feel like there would be too much flex in that
Proline….b4 the brand was cost fixed and marginalized by Horizon.
Most likely changed compounds so they will rot in short period so you have to buy new tires every yr or so
Noooooo, a mfr. would neeeeeever do thaaaaat.
