Good morning, I bought an identical car play for Lexus ct 200 h from 2020. I don't know if this is your production, but it looks identical. I installed it. everything works . I only have one problem. I turn on music from USB and can change songs from the steering wheel. The music is playing, I turn on the navigation, the music is playing but I can't change songs. I can only change songs when the USB player works. Should it be like that ?

This was an excellent set of troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, I have connected my display accordingly, but still no joy. The screen is black, and everything is connected correctly. I assume a faulty MMI. Evo ID6

You can check the video connection and DIP settings

I have a Wakaa aftermarket display screen and carplay works fine but when I want to go to car original menu is shows black screen with no signal. Only screen works with carplay mode on but no audio since I need to connect my device first. Basically Im unable to have both carplay and my original car menu screen to work simultaneously. any idea?

Hey buddy, question , mines is frozen on camera mode thru pemp , can’t even go bac to radio or menu …etc..?

The Pemp is different to our model , you can ask your supplier Pemp , I have little experience on their model.

I have original back up camera. When I put the car in reverse I can not go back to carplay holding "menu" button doesn't work .

Yes , when it in reverse mode, it will show the backup camera, after you switch to N or D or P mode, it can switch to menu

I have an aftermarket nbt evo carplay
But my car is nbt only not the evo. All the settings are right including 123 as I have the big screen, but when I hold the menu button I hear a click in the carplay and the screen goes black. Any fix please?

You can check the video connection, for NBT, the original video cable should remove it from the OEM display and connect to “ LVDS-IN “ port ( of CarPlay box ), the video cable come with the box is aftermarket video cable , it connects to “LVDS out “ and the other side connects to OEM display. Must connect like this .
