I talked to the owner of the David Leslie's car and he said he had rookie crew guys and they over tightened the zerk fittings and he was pissed he offered me a job,, Rodger is a cool guy , he and his guys were cool with us and he showed me that his rotor in his cap was melted and would not have made another lap and it failed halfway down the straight going to the checkered flag, he was sick as hell, I told him go lie the fuck down, Rodger Foo is a great human in my mind
I transported and spotted in 2 for the 23 fmg du-all e36 bmw ,and the next day mike let me take the golf cart around to show my buddy the line, guess what you do at the cork screw, in a golf cart, well you put it in neutral and do the fred flintsone right and left, and tell your buddy do not move or we will die and let the wind go through your hair and have the same exilleration that your race heroes like , all of them, then you go up the corkscrew backwards as Mike is coming down and he has to do a zinardi thank god, and he waves a single finger, so i took that as only one more time, and that is not even bending rules, tell you what 70 or more miles per hour is no joke in a golf cart, to tel, you the truth get a camping spot up on the hill it is so bitchin, don't bring your blow up bed because tame foxes will sleep with you just ask me, they are super cool though, and their tails are so warm
I gotta give Albert Du Pont some serious kudos, he helped me after I helped him, true gentleman, his guy didn't show up and i got in trouble with Steve Dinan because I was late at Texas motor speedway, but if you have ever seen the signs in Dallas fort worth ..... any ways I kept some things to my self and Albert saw I was in trouble so he offered the #1 garage to me, and Steve Dinan and everybody else who was mad at me shook their heads and I still have never told them why,, don't ask, cool guy, big motherfucker, i would not mess with him but we are cool jjj
Yeah I was the spotter for the 23 car up on the hill before way up on the hill where I could see the straight and all the way up to 4 and when David went off I pushed the button on my headset to let my driver know what was going on as I had a track horn speaker right in my ear, we got a podium 23 red, they asked me why I didn't make a call and it was because the speaker told the story, Terry asked me why I didn't make the call and i had always thought he could hear it, as I push the button on my headset no one can say anything and can only listen I did not make a sound when Auberlin went off, the people who are important said it was either the best or the worst call, yeah f them We were a Steve Dinan team I did my job and we got a podium, the only one jjj
