I need help Ive just got a switch and this monitor so i can go see my dauther and play this in the car BUT lol how do i power the dock Ive tryed Powerbank to dock with a usb it green lights for 1 second then goes off but with with the switch dock mains plug cabke is came with The cable that comes with the monitor fits and works with the switch but everyone is saying it will brick it ?? I would use a interver pluged into my car and plug the original power adapter for the dock into that but the cigarette power thing doesnt work .... Can you get a cable that plugs into the power bank usb and runs off to a mini 1 plug power adapter/ inverter that takes house plugs and then just plug my dock into that ???
Battery operated machines are from around £225-500. Asus make the cheapest battery one it's on sale at Amazon for £225 then it's about £300 for one or strix for about £500. Power banks are a good alternative.
Does this work as a 2nd screen for a laptop? My laptop is small and i need a 2nd screen to have a few windows open while i work. Let me know i would appreciate it alot.
The monitor does not have a battery. It is powered by an eternal power source like mains socket or power bank. It can be powered via USB C to USB C via the attached cable but your device must allow power and data transfer, like a Samsung galaxy s20. Hope this helps you.

If you use the cable they supply and put your swtich stright to the monitor with out a dock do you think it would brick it
It may brick it ..I’m getting this monitor and Nintendo don’t want people to use their switch without the dock so be careful

No it can't connect via wireless. I will have a look and see if there are any decent priced wireless monitors out there.

Yes I can confirm it works from the PS4 USB port.
