Suburban school architecture should be buildings with five stories, elevators, halls, stairs, rooms. The Arconia or the Dakota buildings in Manhattan on a smaller scale is a great design for suburban schools combining all grade levels yet separate in one building.
Easier to protect and harder to cause chaos. These are gated buildings.
One story architecture has people moving in one direction through the buildings that a person in this case the Cops can do a sweep through one or two floors running parallel. At the end the sweep corners the student body if they are running from a shooter into a bottle neck at an exit door. The whole architectural design of suburban schools today are failures for safety.

As long as these mass shootings happen in the so-called second amendment states, then I don’t really have much of a problem with it. It’s only when the mass shootings occur in states that are trying to do something to curb the gun violence. That’s when it bothers me.
Thanks for admitting that you only care about children when it suits your political agenda. CA still has the most mass shootings to date over TX and violence like this happens every weekend in Chicago, both very anti gun states.
